Basic Qualifications

This is a Steel Workers Union position.
This position reports to the Director of Facility Operations at our building in HamdenCT. Standard work hours are 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday. Overtime is on Fridays. There are times where work is needed to be performed through lunch and breaks to get machines up and operational. The break or lunch will be taken once machines are running correctly. There are times where work is needed to be performed outside of these normal business hours and the expectation is that the maintenance department will do the required hours and work to complete the necessary tasks. Almost all work done will be completed indoors but the maintenance department is required to maintain the exterior of the building and all company land and property.
This position is union hourly with overtime and covered by the Steelworks Union contract. Benefits can be discussed upon a phone or in person interview.
