String wires, climb poles, work out of a bucket, set poles and anchors, hang transformers, lightning arrestors, cutouts, cross arms and insulators, carry heavy equipment, and work outside in all kinds of weather conditions. Install underground duct systems, vaults, cables, pad mounted transformers, switches, switchgear and associated system components. Locate trouble in primary and secondary systems, replace fuses in transformers and clear faulted circuit and systems. Work with energized high voltage systems. Be available to work during off-duty hours if problems occur in the distribution system or to connect customers. Maintain line vehicles and equipment, including service trucks and street lights.
