ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and controls within the food processing plant.
* Maintain and service motors, drives, conveyors, Cookers, Coolers, dryers, packaging machinery, and automated systems.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and food safety standards.
* Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
* Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to established schedules.
* Maintain detailed maintenance and repair logs in ERP/CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System).
QUALIFICATIONS
* Strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, control panels, sensors, and instrumentation.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive attitude toward electrical maintenance.
* Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must own all basic tools to be used on the job. (Specialty tools will be provided).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
* Preferred 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
* Physically able to lift 50 LBS, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or elevated areas as needed.

This position performs a variety of journey level, technical duties related to performing and effecting power system installation, distribution, transmission and maintenance. Performs line maintenance work and new construction, including pole climbing and live line work as per approved safety procedures. Performs "troubleshooter" or "serviceman" duties on a rotating schedule.
Conducts general technical analysis of line functions and operations as needed to anticipate and prevent line problems; makes recommendations for line specifications on new construction and circuit enhancements; prepares routine reports of activities; uses various equipment, tools and vehicles in maintaining an electrical distribution system to assure against loss of service.

Maintenance Technician 1
LA Semiconductor is looking for a Line Maintenance Technician to perform general and specific preventive and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment in our Photolithography/CMP area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Follow prescribed procedures for safety, clean room protocol, and documentation.
Update equipment comments during your shift on tools you're working on and ensure the status is accurately updated in Promis at the end of your shift.
Update PM checklists while performing PM's.
Perform diagnostics to maintain and/or repair production equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement activities.
Identify and solve problems on a team level and independently.
Utilize Promis, SPC, Oracle, Fault Detection Control, and other electronic media in problem-solving and general documentation of work performed.
Assist in equipment installations, writing specifications/procedures, performing projects, and other tasks as assigned by the Manager and/or team.
Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment.
Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications.
Provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring when the opportunity presents itself.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Perform work in a cleanroom suit as most of the work is conducted in a cleanroom environment.
Technical experience in Photolithography/CMP, or general equipment technician roles.
Experience in PM's, diagnostics and repair of tracks, steppers, scanners, polishers, cleaners, scrubbers, SEM metrology, overlay metrology and film thickness metrology equipment is preferred.
Standing for a least 75% of the time during any particular shift.
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude; this is required to leaner/perform assigned maintenance tasks.
Apply technical knowledge, training, and procedure comprehension to perform routine and sustaining maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment in accordance with established procedures/specifications.
Comprehend and solve basic electronics, mechanical, and mathematics problems.
Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal format.
Work in a team environment. Individuals must be self-motivated and able to interface effectively with other groups and maintain organization with ability to prioritize one's tasks.
Certify to respirator, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), Arsenic and Hazardous Materials handling.
Work with and around chemicals (safety training is provided).
Remain as shift flexible as possible as there exists the chance of being moved from the nights to the day shift(or vice versa), also must be able to work weekends as wall as weekdays (we are a 24/7 facility).
Ability to lift up to 50lbs. repetitively.
Education Requirements:
Associates degree or Certificate of Completion in Electronics, electro-mechanical, semiconductor technology, or another technical program..
2 years of directly related experience may be substituted for a degree. Semiconductor maintenance experience preferred but not required.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.

Sunday-Tuesday; Every other Saturday 6:45pm-7am

JOB SUMMARY
Accountable for the timely installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex plant equipment and facilities that are instrumental in the efficient functioning of automated production lines and a manufacturing facility operating on a 24 hour/day, 7 day/week operation.
The incumbent is assigned jobs by the supervisor and is expected to complete most jobs, including those of a complex nature, with little to no supervision
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, dryers, mixers, and packaging machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and equipment malfunctions in a timely and safe manner.
Fabricate, weld, or modify parts and components as needed.
Assist with equipment installation and commissioning of new machinery.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to established schedules.
Maintain detailed maintenance and repair logs in ERP/CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System).
Work collaboratively with electricians, operators, and supervisors to support production goals.
Ensure compliance with all codes, safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and food safety standards.
Understand the basics of electricity. Wire 3 phase motors and basic trouble shooting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, and drive systems.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and ability to assist with minor electrical troubleshooting.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Must own all basic tools to be used on the job. (Specialty tools will be provided).
Preferred Qualifications
Welding and fabrication experience (TIG/MIG/Stick).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Preferred 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physically able to lift 50 LBS, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or elevated areas as needed.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as production demands require.
FOOD AND WORKPLACE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Proactively manage safety by ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations and internal Company policies. Regularly complete behavior based safety observations. Ensure unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner. All employees are responsible for upholding the principles of SQF 2000. All employees are responsible for immediately reporting any food safety, food quality, or plant security issues to management for appropriate action.
