Work from complex electric controls and manufacturers drawings or manuals to complete assigned work. Install electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiring. Ability to use electrical/electronic testing equipment to such as multi-meters, ammeters, megohm meters, high potential testers, oscilloscopes, digital probes to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Use hand and power tools related to the electrical trades. Install and maintain control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and control panels. Preferred experience considered plus - working with variable frequency drives, soft starters, eddy current, and DC drives, Repair or replace faulty electrical equipment, including electronic controls, meters, outlets, and panels. Effectively communicate problems and solutions to resolve electrical problems. Supervise and participate in the on-the-job training of Utility Maintenance Person as needed. Preferred knowledge of and use the required personal protective equipment to protect against arc flash and shock hazard Preferred experience in computerized management system to work with workorder system etc. Familiar with NEC codes, OHSA and NFPA70E will be considered Qualifications Education & Experience: Graduation from high school, or general education with electric apprenticeship - preferred Ability to successfully complete proficiency testing in mathematics, reading, writing, maintenance skills and other related subjects.
