Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors Required:
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).

Understands electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze problems and perform repairs.

The Edw. C. Levy Group of Companies is looking for a Maintenance Millwright for our floating plant located in the state of Arkansas. The Maintenance Millwright will travel to various Levy sites to process raw material through a portable slag processing plant. Responsible for plant production tracking, plant maintenance, and housekeeping.

Responsibilities The Maintenance Millwright will:
Operate mobile equipment (including but not limited to excavator, loader, skidsteer, etc.)
Feed portable plant with raw materials
Stockpile materials around plant area
Use machinery to regulate flow, quality, and size of materials to and from conveyors, crushers, and screens
Inspect and dismantle machines and equipment to locate the causes of malfunctions and to correct the problem
Keep the work area clean and tidy
Maintain daily production reports
Repair and replace defective parts
Weld and fabricate various equipment and parts
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and plant
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills The ideal candidate will have:
Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs.
Mechanical aptitude including welding and basic electrical skills
Knowledge and ability to operate heavy equipment and crusher plant
Knowledge of crushing, screening, belts and conveyors
Knowledge of materials and specification requirements
Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb or crawl under or on top of or under equipment
Ability to manipulate components in hard to reach places with hands or tools
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format individually and in group settings
Valid CDL class A with Air Brakes license or the ability to obtain one

A day (or night) in this role
You arrive for your shift and jump into action-tracking down a fault on an Allen Bradley PLC, swapping a photo-eye sensor that's throwing bad reads, and tuning a VFD to bring a motor back into spec. You'll move between HMIs, sensors, motors, and servo systems, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues that keep production running smoothly.
What you'll handle
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace HMIs, VFDs, PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), sensors, motors, and photo eye sensors
Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues to minimize downtime
Perform hands-on maintenance and repair in an industrial environment
