Responsibilities:
Knowledge of and experience working with motor control centers safely and effectively
Knowledge of and experience working medium voltage equipment and motors safely and effectively
Knowledge of or experience working at compressor stations in electrical construction, maintenance, and repair
Process controls and tubing experience is preferred
Heat trace installation, repair, and maintenance experience required
Knowledge of A/C and D/C circuits, as well as electrical theory, ladder logic, read electrical schematics, electrical devices and apparatuses
Knowledge of proper power and control troubleshooting (pump panels, instrument devices, relays, breakers, transformers single and three phase, motors etc.)
Knowledge of overhead power line and troubleshooting transformer sizing and wiring, fuse coordination is a plus
Knowledge of VFD and Soft start devices, operation, and components is a plus but not a requirement
Will have to be available for call out rotations
Must has knowledge of meters and how to take measurements safely and correctly
Qualifications:
Licensed Journeyman Texas and/or New Mexico preferred
Candidate needs to have good communication skills verbal and written
Must have clean driving record for at least 3 years
Must work well with others within his/her department and other departments
Must have good work ethics honesty, trustworthy, punctual, integrity etc.
Must be self-motivated individual and able to coordinate workflow
Individual has to be available for on call rotation once put into rotation and be able to manage tasks and workflow accordingly

Specific Responsibilities Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures. While they may work on Apache premises, their scope of work is mainly focused on the residential places of expats.

Assists in carrying poles, digging holes, picking poles and other such operations involved in the setting or replacing of poles; may erect steel towers.

May troubleshoot electrical problems on company and customer equipment.
Perform all physical requirements of the position including being able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
Plans, updates, and oversees all activities within his or her areas of responsibility according to the laws, regulations, standards, specifications, and procedures. Special emphasis must be placed on health, safety, and the environment
Supports and encourages team effort between operations, engineering, and projects groups
Provides input and reviews the electrical and control specifications and work practices
Responsible and accountable for electrical and control systems as defined in the Work Management Manual
Has the knowledge to apply and follow work permits through Permit To Work System (PTWS) as discussed in the Work Management Manual
Ensures the quality and timely completion of work scheduled by the Maintenance Program
Develops personal and team technical skills (for example, new regulations, equipment, methods, and others)
Attends and instructs (as needed) technical meetings, to keep instrument and electrical technicians informed of the latest specifications, codes, procedures, and technology
Develops and maintains open communications on control issues (for example, safe work practices, training, materials, and others) with co-workers
Supports work prioritization to maximize effectiveness and to complement the efforts of other work groups
Provides technical support to other Technicians for maintenance and troubleshooting on company's instrument and electrical systems
Generates Management of Change requests (MOCs) on electrical and control-related equipment and installation and can follow up with installation inspections consistent with Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) Element 3
Constructs, monitors, and inspects new installations for their consistency with the mission and recommend upgrades as necessary
Acts as a stand-in for the Instrument and Electrical Lead position as needed
Qualifications
Associates degree preferably enhanced by related technical school courses
Experience in maintaining electrical systems and Instruments and Controls in processing plant or offshore production plant
Familiar with regulations applicable to the operations of oil and gas facilities OIMS systems, related manuals, and procedures
Meets the safety, administrative, and technical training requirements associated with this position as documented in the company operations-approved training roadmap
Possesses the general competencies and Operations Integrity Critical competency requirements as documented and maintained in company Operations Training roadmap

Daily Activities
Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assemble, and install electrical conduit.
Pulls wiring through conduit.
Terminates wiring at lighting fixtures, control boxes, connectors, and power equipment.
Installs controls, monitoring and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, sensors, control boxes and circuit-breaker panels.
Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric motors or heaters, and installs grounding leads.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment.
Communicating effectively and working with others Able to work with peers and engineering support to develop and implement solutions to problems/issues.
