Responsibilities Assist in the execution of electrical installations for many different electrical and electronic systems such as lighting, announcing, 115V/440V electrical plant equipment, Uninterrupted Power Supply equipment, Audio/Video equipment, Antenna systems and many others Install electrical cabinets, fixtures and equipment for various electrical systems Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.) Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks using various MIL-SPEC connectors Pull in cables of various lengths and sizes to accommodate system connections Work shipboard availabilities with a small crew. R&P Technologies is looking for a marine electrician / technician level I to fill a full-time position undertaking a variety of tasks relating to assisting with the installation, repair and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic equipment onboard US Navy ships in San Diego, CA.
