Must have the ability to maintain, improve, and participate in developing control systems, programming ladder logic / PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Wago, GE, MicroLogix, ControlLogix, PLC-5) and HMI. Works with controls and instrumentation such as thermocouples and transducers, as well as primary voltages up to and including 480v.

Summary:
To be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Work on electric motors
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
Good knowledge of various testing equipment.
Position Requirement
Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
Experience working as an electrician.
High school diploma.required
Valid driver's license.
Journeyman license state of New Mexico required

Working Conditions
Environmental Conditions:
Office, shop and warehouse environment, travel from site to site, airborne particles and vibration, and frequently works in outside weather conditions.
