Day Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineer, the Industrial Maintenance Tech will be responsible for shift support for all electrical/mechanical problems that might arise with equipment/facilities as well as completing all predictive and preventative maintenance work. This position would also be responsible for all machine management and maintenance across the fabrication department and would lead special projects to both equipment/facilities and systems development. Qualifications: Education: Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in the food, pharmaceutical, or biotech industry. Proficient in troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with PLC and VDF systems (Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric), HMI interfaces, and automated machinery. Strong knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E) and GMP practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in collagen, food-grade, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Knowledge of sanitary equipment design and clean-in-place (CIP) systems. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Principles. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, moving machinery, and varying temperatures. Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 50 lbs), and climb ladders or scaffolding as required. May require occasional overtime, night shifts, or weekend work depending on production needs.
