Compensation: $39.75 / hour
Shift Differential: 6%-8% of base hourly rate shift differential paid for applicable hours worked
Schedules: Days: M-F Day shift & Nights: 5:00 pm - 5:00 am, 2/2/3 rotating schedule
Must be able to train on 1st shift for approximately 3 months before moving to schedule

Responsibilities:
- Performs routine preventative and corrective maintenance and testing on equipment Perform maintenance tasks to include - repairing and improving, from minor rebuilds to major overhauls on all equipment.
- Identify processing waste reduction opportunities and assist in reduction projects.
- Participate in preventative maintenance program to help reduce costs of operations through PM optimization.
- Dismantles, cleans, repairs and tests electrical, electronic and mechanical components to determine component-level failure
- Support equipment installations, retrofits and upgrades to include vendors and contractors
- Communicate, coach and train employees to continuously improve team's ability to respond to equipment failures and loss of production.
- Actively support NCE through SLC DOR, DER, GSTD's - DMAIC projects and Debriefs or shift handoffs
- Maintains preventative maintenance logs and accurate records of all testing and repairs
- Recommends equipment to be included in preventive maintenance programs. Perform Preventative Maintenance task to identify all potential mechanical and electrical issues with equipment throughout the plant. Rebuild worn-out, but reusable, pieces of equipment, such as gearboxes for scheduled PM's.
- Troubleshoot/ investigate and repair all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility systems including chillers, air compressors etc. Eliminates problems from recurring utilizing the Breakdown Analysis process
- Communicates directly with equipment suppliers, contractors and vendors as necessary
- Areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to -Production support - Mechanical Room- Water Processing - Boiler Room -Waste Water Treatment- Water Chemical Treatment Program
Qualifications:
Three or more years proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Prior experience with high and low pressure compressors, chillers, water treatment, boilers is preferred
Strong technical knowledge of compressed air systems (pneumatics), electrical systems, hydraulics and water processing is preferred
Knowledge of bottling equipment, PM programs and SAP system preferred
Successfully demonstrates strong mechanical abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees.
Must have electrical knowledge of single and three phase power including the ability to diagnose and replace electric motors
Must be able to work and accomplish projects with little to zero supervision
Must be able to foster and build a team-work environment
Communicate effectively with various support groups, supervisors, and team members
Maintain a high level of professional and organizational ethics and image with all plant and outside personnel
Able to read, interpret and analyze computer generated reports
Perform all tasks with extreme accuracy
Must be able to do physical inspections, (i.e. climbing, reaching, extending)
Must be proficient with mechanical drawings and OEM technical prints for parts identification
Proficient computer navigation skills, including the use of Microsoft Office applications
Available for call-ins or to cover all shifts to support production teams as required
Works together with Safety department to achieve a zero injury workplace
Must display a positive mental attitude and be open to a fast paced ever changing work environment
Ability to pass a Ramsay aptitude test

Performs inspections and the logging of the inspections of all safety equipment including but not limited to fire extinguishers, AED machines, eye wash stations, emergency lights, etc.
Performs electrical safety check of new equipment.
Performs emergency work and repairs in an efficient and timely manner.
Participates in the on-call (after-hours) facilities maintenance rotation.
Assists Supervisor, Facilities in efforts to reduce and/or eliminate the reliance on 3rd party maintenance vendors and complete work in-house for standard preventative maintenance such as HVAC filter and belt changes, HVAC coil cleaning, interior and exterior electrical lighting replacements, plumbing flush valve and miscellaneous filter changes, minor interior finishes such as flooring, painting and ceiling tile replacements, door hardware repairs, etc.
Assists Supervisor, Facilities and the Manager, Facilities Operations and Capital Projects with strategic facilities maintenance planning, building evaluations and facilities maintenance budgeting with a focus on reducing overall operating costs.
Performs procurement of any supplies and materials needed to complete routine work and preventative maintenance.
Obtains vendor proposals for materials, equipment and/or 3rd party services.
Creates the necessary purchase orders for all materials, equipment and/or 3rd party services procured.
Constructs cabinetry, shelving and other items as needed by patient care and administrative staff.
Assists in any renovations, remodeling or repairs to the buildings and the heating, plumbing and/or electrical systems.
Performs duties pertinent to biomedical and hazardous materials, as well as demonstrated awareness of importance of these duties.
Acts as a mentor to Maintenance Technicians, with assistance from the Supervisor, Facilities.
Shares training of advanced skills with co-workers, especially Maintenance Technicians.
Assists Supervisor, Facilities in scheduling required tasks and on-site oversight of 3rd party maintenance vendors.
Performs rounds at assigned sites as designated by the Supervisor, Facilities.
Takes accountability for education and training to ensure personal competency.
Acts as a member of the Safety and Ergonomics team by attending training and meetings, completing evaluations for assigned areas and as a back-up as required.
Provides needed assistance to other Support Services teams as needed.
Travels to different company sites with company vehicle
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
HS diploma or equivalent, and/or qualification/certificate relating to a trade or equivalent experience.
6+ years of multi trade or one trade experience required.
Power tool experience.
Plumbing and Electrical experience (preferred).
Must be physically able to perform all duties required.
Visual acuity and fine motor skills are needed to perform daily routine tasks.
Energy Management System control and software inspection, calibration and installation (preferred).
Required License(s) and/or Certification(s):
Valid Maine driver's license.
Complete OSHA Trainings related to duties.
Skills/Knowledge/Competencies (Behaviors):

Complete system-wide power and control wiring, including transformers and power distribution components

Support Machine Project Leaders (MPLs) in setup and system cycling to verify correct operation of electrical components
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical hardware issues; assist programmers during device configuration and testing

Perform field service and travel for equipment installation and commissioning at customer sites, independently or with minimal supervision

Comply with all company safety procedures and collaborate with Safety personnel to maintain a safe working environment
