Responsibilities
As a Journeyman Lineman you will install, maintain and repair all transmission and distribution electrical systems and associated equipment, both overhead and underground, while utilizing line trucks, aerial boom, lifts and wire pulling equipment. These duties include: Maintenance of lines and services will require pole climbing, hot sticking, and working out of truck mounted bucket lifts to construct, repair or maintain line equipment or string, splice and sag wire on live or dead circuits. Operates switches, cutouts and uses grounding devices to work on de-energized lines and equipment. Transformer wiring knowledge. You may train and direct the work of a trainee in the trade. Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without an accommodation.
Requirements
2+ years experience as a Journeymen Lineman.
A high school diploma, GED or proof of equivalent.
Journeyman Lineman experience which includes completion of a formal training program for a Journeyman Lineman.
Must meet examining board review of skills and experience and will be required to pass testing through Rocky Mountain Power.
Candidate must have hot stick training and experience.
Must have a Class A Commercial Driver's License.

This position may be fixed on day shift or support off shifts; independent of shift schedule, this position is responsible to coach and develop leads / teams on every shift within their area/lines.
The role is an on-site position at our Salt Lake City plant. Hours for the position are Monday-Friday, 6:00pm to 2:30am.
In this role, you will be responsible for:

Education and Experience:

Summary
The purpose of this job is to conduct blending operations and provide equipment maintenance at Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) blending plants.
Essential Functions
1. Responsible for daily DEF blending process and collection and submission of product samples
2. Perform light plant maintenance (e.g., greasing equipment, monitoring the water system, replacing equipment filters and resin beds, sweeping) to prevent equipment failure
3. Collaborate daily with the DEF Rail Movements Specialist to schedule rail car deliveries of DEF concentrate to plant(s)
4. Troubleshoot, with guidance from the Assistant Manager, equipment repairs for technical and mechanical issues; maintain inventory of replacement parts
5. Ensure all safety and operational procedures are followed at the blending site(s)
6. Recommend improvements for DEF plant operations and assist in implementing any operational changes at direction of manager
7. Travel to other DEF sites to conduct blending operations as needed

Do you have experience with roadway projects including Traffic Signals, Street Lighting, and Underground Utilities? Do you enjoy troubleshooting, pulling wire, bending pipe and computing electrical formulas? Can you install control circuits and other components? Are you able to read, interpret, and understand electrical plans, complex circuit schematics, and blueprints?
We need some hardworking individuals to work with light, medium and heavy tools, underground conduit, boxes and vaults, build cabinets and foundations, pull wire, install light poles and fixtures, mount signal heads, install traffic camera's, set rebar foundations and pour concrete.
MAJOR DUTIES
Working on MSHA surface mine locations (mostly gravel pits).
Installing and maintaining three-phase power systems, motors, motor controls.
Designing, installing, maintaining motor control systems.
Troubleshooting, repairing and servicing control and power systems.
PLC control design, programming and troubleshooting.
Occasional long hours to complete work.
Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Valid Journeyman Electrician's license.

Must have electrical knowledge.

Your Profile
Vocational training and / or experience as an Electrician, Technician, or related field (preferred).
Must be willing to travel 30-50% of the year. Most travel will be in the Fall.
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (mountains ski lift areas).

Construct, maintain and repair Company power lines and distribution systems, both overhead and underground, from point of generation to the customer's premises to ensure continuity of electric service in a safe and efficient manner. Construct, install, maintain and repair all transmission and distribution electrical systems and associated equipment, both overhead and underground, for the reliable and safe transmission and distribution of electrical service to the customer.
