POSITION SUMMARY The Electrical-Mechanic Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and/or mechanical systems and equipment within the facility. This role ensures that all electrical and mechanical components are operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant codes and standards. The position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. Requirements: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Diagnose electrical issues and execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime. Replace or repair defective components such as motors, sensors, switches, circuit boards, welding, or fabrication. Repair machinery and facilities. Installation: Install new electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures according to job specifications and local codes. Assist in the layout and installation of electrical wiring, conduit, welding, and equipment. Install and test new equipment. Troubleshooting: Use electrical testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to identify faults and ensure proper installations. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with electrical systems. Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities (work orders), including inspections, repairs, and replacements. Follow safety policies/procedures including wearing necessary PPE. Follow attendance policy and other policies. Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance technicians, engineers, and production staff to ensure seamless operation of equipment.
