    The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for safely completing a wide range of tasks under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and must be proficient in mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance in a manufacturing setting. Responsible for assigned preventative maintenance work orders and repairs to electrical systems and mechanical equipment in the plant. Daily requirements will include skills such as fabricating, welding, machining, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. This position will work a rotating shift: one month on day shift followed by one month on night shift, working 36-48 hours a week (12 hour shifts). The Maintenance Electrician supports the production of high-quality commercial roofing products, with a sense of urgency and accountability for equipment uptime. This employee thrives in environments where safety, quality, service and cost are the highest priorities and is able to make recommendations to improve the overall performance of plant equipment. The Maintenance Electrician will interact and communicate effectively with all GAF employees with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
