Core Responsibilities Learn how to test complex circuits, read AC and DC schematics, interpret and use wiring diagrams, and understand microprocessor relay logic. Participate in extensive training program consisting of in-house classroom and lab training at our state-of-the-art Learning Center and hands-on training in the field. Learn about the operation, maintenance, and testing of protective relay systems, and transmission and distribution equipment. Work on electrical construction projects, performing acceptance testing, and commissioning new protection systems and equipment. Perform testing, troubleshooting and repairs on protective relays and system, substation equipment, control systems and telephones lines in substation and other locations. Able to travel and work in any location within the Company and service territory. Ensures that all work is being performed in effective and efficient manner. Ensures that the Human Performance Improvement (HPI) tools are incorporated into the plan and daily work activities.
