Job Summary:
Performs a wide variety of skilled mechanical, electronic and electrical repairs to facilities, machinery and equipment. Utilizes own knowledge and information from manuals, schematics, etc… to analyze, troubleshoot and repair equipment. Installs new equipment, makes set-ups and adjustments to production equipment and performs all necessary maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize a computer based CMMS system to account for time worked on equipment during your shift
Performs troubleshooting operations to diagnose the condition of facilities, equipment and machinery and takes necessary action to affect repairs and/or adjustments
Make set ups and adjustments on production equipment
Willingness to assist and train other technicians to help build a solid team
Perform a wide variety of maintenance, testing, inspection and repair functions
Responsible for the safe repair of equipment and ensuring that operating equipment will not injure employees or damage equipment
Responsible for entering in hours in a CMMS system every day and signing out inventory to work orders
In addition to skills for mechanic I, mechanic II should also:
Use a Voltmeter
Understand voltage, current, and resistance
Understand AC-DC voltage
Change motors and read wiring diagrams
Gear boxes -bearings -seals- mechanical drives-power transmission etc.
Water pumps and gear pumps and seals for them and how they work as far as priming
How to align motor couplings sprockets and pulleys
How different taper locks work
Change drive chains and adjust use chain breaks and different chain links etc.
Test Fuses
Read electrical and mechanical prints blueprints
Know how to glue pvc and sweat copper and drain lines fittings
Heat exchangers operation
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Be able to work and communicate within maintenance and between departments
Skills, Qualifications, Education and/or Relevant Experience:
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Good troubleshooting, analytical, mechanical, electrical, and electronic skills.
Must be able to mentally prepare a task and envision its completion and results.
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.
High School Graduate or equivalent
Technical school training or relevant experience, State of Ohio certification in mechanical maintenance or equivalent.
Strong aptitude for computer operation, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC equipment and machinery
Be able to communicate (written, verbal, and comprehension) in English
Physical/Mental Demands:
Be able to move freely throughout the work area
Be able to climb and work from ladders and platforms
Work at heights exceeding 50ft
Be able to lift and move heavy equipment (100 lbs)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for safely performing emergency and preventative repairs to plant machinery and infrastructure and minimizing production time losses associated with the breakdown or failure of production equipment
Informs the Maintenance Supervisor when supplies have been removed from stock and require replenishment
Provides ordering information for replenishment of stock
Responsible for development and review of standard operating procedures to govern the function performed by maintenance personnel

Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Columbus District Office (serving COA & HOA communities) - Columbus, OH
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM, with an on-call rotation
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hour (based on experience and qualifications)

* Must have basic hand tools, valid driver's license, reliable truck/van, and auto insurance

Job Summary:
This position will support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and optimizing all 480 VAC electrical distribution equipment, 24 VDC & 120 VAC process control hardware, 120/240 & 480 VAC support equipment, single & 3-phase electrical circuits, site lighting, running conduit and new electrical installs for manufacturing equipment from extruders, winders, slitters, air compressors and pelletizers to dock doors, dock levelers, hoists, silos and building ventilation systems. This position creates value for the facility by performing preventative and corrective maintenance leading to increased uptime and reliability, thus helping the facility to meet their safety, quality and production goals.
Job Duties:
Perform all duties with a passion for keeping safety first and constructively influence others to do the same.
Comply with and practice proper isolation & verification of all systems where work will be performed.
Perform all work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety and environmental regulations.
Work productively and cooperatively with co-workers, customers, supervisors, and outside contractors.
In addition to a standard Monday through Friday daytime work shift, currently 6:00am to 2:30pm, work overtime, weekends, holidays, and on an on-call basis, as needed.
Identify, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and simple electrical problems on plant facilities and production equipment.
Performs preventative maintenance per defined interval/schedule in a timely manner and document maintenance concerns/resolutions in an electronic CMMS database.
Recognize and correct potential equipment failure or unsafe conditions and communicate with key stakeholders.
Perform machine shop work operating various machines such as drill presses, cut-off saws, grinders, milling machines, band saws, pneumatic tools and electric/manual hand tools.
Perform pipe fitting of threaded and flanged pipe of various sizes, both prefabricated and field runs. Locations could include to and from various pieces of equipment/systems, outside pipe bridges and inside buildings.
Develop written procedures for mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic equipment maintenance and inspection.
Develop procurement lists of repair/spare parts for mechanical systems for project and maintenance purposes.
Support Plant Operations to minimize production impacts and enhance reliability.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism while working as a member of a team or independently.
Identify, interpret and effectively use drawings and documentation related to electrical and process controls including electrical one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, control schematics, P&ID's, instrument loop diagrams, etc.
Follow established procedures for preventive and predictive maintenance of electrical systems.
Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems, including electrical distribution equipment, variable frequency drives (VFD), PLC systems, process control networking hardware and analog & discrete controls.
Perform electrical switching (12.5kV & 480V).
Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years working experience in the mechanical maintenance field, preferably in a manufacturing plant environment.
Must demonstrate good safety practices, especially LOTO and task planning, while performing listed job duties.
Must be capable of and willing to work overtime as required and participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7/365 coverage of facilities.
Must be able to respond to call-in requests promptly when notified.
Must be able to use and navigate business applications, including computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), and be proficient with MS Office suite.
Must be able to use ladders, scaffolding, and/or a personnel lift while performing job duties.
Must be able to work with power tools, small motorized equipment, and vehicles.

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Tool & Die Machinist to support our production operations by performing routine and complex maintenance on stamping dies. The ideal candidate will be experienced in inspecting, repairing, sharpening, cleaning, and modifying progressive and/or transfer stamping dies to ensure optimal performance, part quality, and die longevity.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and assess stamping dies for wear, damage, or malfunction.
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble dies using hand and power tools.
Sharpen cutting and forming components using surface grinders and other precision machining equipment.
Repair or replace worn or damaged die components (e.g., punches, dies, springs, guide pins).
Troubleshoot die performance issues during production and recommend/implement corrective actions.
Perform preventative maintenance on dies based on schedule or usage.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
Operate manual machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders) and potentially CNC equipment for die modification or component fabrication.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize die performance.
Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or apprenticeship in Tool & Die preferred.
3+ years of experience in tool and die maintenance, preferably in a stamping environment.
Strong understanding of progressive and/or transfer die construction and function.
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges).
Skilled in surface grinding, polishing, and manual machining operations.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and die specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with CAD/CAM or CNC programming is a plus.
Familiarity with die sensors and in-die protection systems.
Basic welding or brazing skills.
2nd Shift - Mon-Fri 3:00pm - 11:30pm (Ability to train on 1st shift for 2 weeks.)
