This is a leadership position with responsibility for all aspects of the maintenance process, including direct leadership and supervision of mechanical and electrical trades. Executes plant equipment lock-out, tag-out policy and procedures to the highest level of safety standards. Plans and supervises work performed by internal personnel and contractors. Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the facility to support achieving company, plant, and team goals. Select, train, and manage a work force that is motivated, flexible in skills, cross-trained and technically astute ensuring an effective and motivated team. Maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure deadlines and fiscal targets are met. Plans and coordinates plant maintenance as required to maximize plant availability.
