Position Overview The purpose of the Maintenance Managers role is to provide leadership to the maintenance departments responsible for equipment, property, buildings, and facilities for a manufacturing plant or multiple manufacturing plants. The Maintenance Manager will be primarily responsible for managing, implementing, and supporting best safety and environmental practices; identifying, troubleshooting and resolving process or maintenance issues; maintaining, repairing and updating all production equipment systems and facilities; managing and controlling maintenance costs; and overseeing and maintaining equipment performance. Also, to ensure new concepts and technology are being explored and utilized appropriately. In cooperation with the EHS Manager, ensure that the plant's local, state and federal environmental, operating and construction permits are in order and completed in a timely manner. This should result in no non-compliance issues or projects delayed due to timeliness of permitting. Lead maintenance operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures. Statistical aptitude Experience identifying maintenance expenditures, downtime, etc. and analyzing data to recommend areas of improvement Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals in team based environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Requirements BS in Engineering or equivalent experience and technical training/education Minimum of 5 years manufacturing maintenance experience with minimum of 3 years in a leadership role Lean manufacturing knowledge/certification a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Experience with CMMS software (Maximo, MP2, SAP, etc.) Working knowledge of root cause analysis, predictive and preventative maintenance systems Project management experience Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position will not offer relocation or visa sponsorship.
