Essential Functions:

Maintain a complete inventory of all major building systems, manage warranty issues, and keep a listing of available outside resources to complement in-house maintenance efforts.
Conduct periodic inspections of the complete facility condition and infrastructure to ensure building upkeep and operational readiness-document and report deficiencies with recommended remediation.
Create plans, develop, and implement new procedures to improve operations while minimizing costs. Must know requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
Ensure a safe work environment by watching and reporting on all safety issues, fire alarm status, and emergency systems.
Coordinate with all department heads to schedule PMs and downtimes, resulting in minimal disruption to operations. Define the scope of work, bid reviews, and manage small capital projects.

GENERAL FUNCTION
The position will have 24 hour accountability for the technical/maintenance support for specific Business Units and be responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities. This role will direct and coordinate the day to day activities of Tech Support technicians in the maintenance, repair, and installation of all production related equipment. Job Description:

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and reliable MaintenanceManager on Duty to join the Equinox team! This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.
The main purpose of this position is to ensure that club and exercise equipment are kept clean and well maintained. The MaintenanceManager on Duty plays a major role in leading the maintenance team and supporting the MaintenanceManager and management team.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Extensively train all new and existing staff to the Equinox expectation.
* Notify maintenancemanager of any and all operational issues.
* Assist maintenancemanager in all club related special projects (floor cleaning, high dusting, advanced equipment repair, etc.)
* Inspect and maintain all cleaning equipment used by club employee's (mop pads, buckets, pails, floor scrubbing machines, ladders, dolly's, hand trucks, rags, etc.
* Inspect and repair all club equipment on a daily basis (cardio/strength equipment, cardio theater system, climate control, club's overhead and studio music systems.)
* Full knowledge of all cleaning supplies and recommended chemicals.
* Responsible for inventory, restocking, and replacement of all maintenance supplies (lighting, locker room supplies, laundry supplies, maintenance chemicals, towels, etc.)
* Perform all other projects and responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual should meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications:
* Awareness of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
* Experience with cleaning products.
* Ability to organize work.
* Ability to service athletic equipment (when applicable).
* Ability to work with hand tools and cleaning equipment.
* Ability to work as a team
* Excellent communication skills with MaintenanceManager.
* Excellent customer service skills.

Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance worker is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of The People Concern Willow Tree Inn. This position will ensure that The People Concern operates a clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities that meet industry and funding source standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for general cleaning of the facilities which includes sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, washing windows, cleaning and stocking restrooms, emptying trash, etc.
Assist with the completion of all minor repairs and facility rehabilitation, including interior and exterior facility grounds, buildings and equipment.
Implement a schedule of regular evaluation and preventative maintenance/repair tasks of the facilities ensuring the safety of the buildings from fire, flood, and other hazards.
Maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of offices, restrooms, dining areas, dorms and common areas.
Assist with set-up and clean-up of major events and with the pick-up, loading, and unloading of supplies and donations.
Communicate regularly with all members of the team, to ensure effective two- way communication concerning maintenance issues.
Implement policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
One to three years' experience as a Facilities Maintenance worker in a commercial building, or an equivalent combination of education andexperience.
Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Self-starter with the ability to stay ahead of the curve and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Working knowledge of workplace safety and illness and injury prevention practices
Able to read, speak, and understand directions in English
Able to maintain a pleasant attitude and a customer-service orientation at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish preferred
