Supervises the general operating maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds to maintain proper care of the assigned community(s) in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards/regulations and company policies. * Supervises scheduled maintenance on: H.V.A.C., elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency pull cord equipment. * Responds to maintenance requests by residents for items needing repair in their rooms, including repairing plumbing, electrical, heating and replacing light bulbs. * Supervises repairs and maintains vacated rooms in a timely manner. This includes painting walls and cleaning carpets. Inspects completed work for conformance to standards and policies. * Ensures walls, floor coverings, doors, and woodwork in the common areas of the community are properly maintained. * Assists in the training of maintenance staff. * Maintains positive communication with local fire Marshall, building inspector, state elevator inspector, and any other jurisdictions governing the residence. * Conducts in-service fire safety training for all employees. * Repairs walls, floor coverings, doors, and wood work in the common areas of the community(s). * Assesses all plumbing and electrical problems within the community(s) and determines the best course of action to correct the problem. Works within the legal scope of local and state codes. * Reviews safety data sheets (SDS) as requested for potential exposure to hazardous chemicals used and takes necessary precautions. * Assess property damage and file property damage claims in accordance with company policy. * May directly supervise the maintenance technicians and building engineers, to include delegating tasks, hiring, training, evaluating performance, resolving disciplinary issues and firing. Job Summary The Facilities Maintenance Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall maintenance of the club's facilities, both indoors and outdoors. Keep all floors swept, mopped, and polished, including courts, exercise rooms, stairwells, lobby and hallway areas, restrooms, and any other areas needed. * Dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, chair arms, desks, credenzas, chandeliers, pictures, televisions, woodwork, and artwork, including all ceiling HVAC registers. * Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed in their respective areas, to meet club standards and as communicated expectations (i.e. orderly/organized work areas, straighten/arrange entry area, picking up trash/debris, etc.). * Perform or contract facility maintenance and housekeeping repairs and maintenance including, but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building equipment, carpentry, flooring, walls, ceilings, special projects, and other related areas. * Responsible for maintaining a maintenance and project checklist/schedule for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements. * Communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate, prioritize, document, and complete work requests from Department Heads, members, and guests. About You Required * High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. * A minimum of 2 years of experience in the general maintenance, housekeeping, or janitorial services in the golf club environment. Preferred * Familiarity with cleaning procedures and sanitation best practices. * Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces (e.g., carpets, windows, restrooms) and the proper care of high-traffic areas. * Previous training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance is a plus. * Knowledge of and adherence to all OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and other compliance related facility maintenance.
