Position Description
Reporting to the Plant Manager or Plant Director, the ManagerMaintenance II is responsible for providing leadership for the maintenance functions, ensuring proper preventive maintenance of physical plant and all operating equipment, electrical troubleshooting, minimizing equipment downtime to provide maximum production capacity, and compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Essential Job Functions:
Adhere to and ensure compliance to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and PPE requirements.
Adhere to and ensure compliance to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).
Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination.
Provides training, direction and instruction and conducts performance evaluations.
Provides guidance and training on work standards and expected outcomes.
Accountable for planning and evaluating performance, staff training and development, recruitment and may contribute to pay recommendations.
Continuously improving manufacturing processes in terms of quality and performance measurements and identifying and eliminating bottleneck areas.
Seek to ensure reliability of plant and equipment operation while optimizing maintenance and operation costs and satisfying all safety, environmental etc. regulations in the process.
Assist the engineering team in the launch of new products and processes from an engineering perspective.
Manage contractors for any non-engineering project.
Identify and solve safety concerns encountered during design and study of manufacturing processes.
Devise hands-on improvement processes to reduce scrap and defects while improving throughput and document SOPs and the implementation of Best Practices into the facility. Coordinate the installation of new equipment to maximize production efficiency and maintainability.
Work with production to make modifications to equipment and work areas for maximum efficiency of operation.
Maintain a knowledge base in the capacity of existing utilities and the current level of utilization.
Oversee the maintenance of the equipment and the facility to ensure the company receives maximum utilization of its assets.
Ensure that systems are in place & followed to maintain reliability of the equipment & processes.
Keep written documentation of environmental compliance current.
Periodically prepare reports to satisfy environmental and safety regulations and ensure a safe and professional work environment.
Evaluates and recommends improvements to product manufacturability.
Ensure compliance to all OHSA and environmental regulatory and corporate standards. Investigate and identify root causes of any non-compliance.
Accountable for a safe working environment through the development of strategies focused on accident reduction as well as energy and waste minimization.
Oversee effective deployment of human resources throughout the plant and ensure the correct administration of the collective Bargaining Agreement if applicable.

Education and Experience:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required. Undergraduate degree in a related field preferred.
8- 10 years relevant work experience in Management. Food/Beverage manufacturing preferred.

Job Summary: The Facilities Maintenance Worker will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on the building. Assists in various maintenance and warehouse department functions and tasks and assists the Warehouse Worker/Maintenance in the performance of various duties. Performs variety of skilled duties in one or more of the building trades, such as painting, carpentry, HVAC, minor electrical, or other recognized crafts for the purpose of maintaining, repairing the building.
Essential Facilities Maintenance Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection, and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior.
Assists and performs semiskilled tasks of a general nature in connection with maintenance, repair, and construction tasks in the upkeep of the building.
Assists and performs with installation, maintenance, repair and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, framing, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, carpet, and HVAC
Assists and performs functions in the construction, installation and maintenance of ceilings, furniture, cabinets, shelving, marker boards/chalkboards, tack boards and a variety of other structures and items.
Perform general grounds keeping on a daily basis; inspect outside of Distribution Center areas, ensure disposal areas are kept clean and in a safe condition
Prepares and paints walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinish; installs or repairs carpet; performs custodial duties as required.
Maintains accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules, and MSD Sheets.
May perform weekly safety checks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for the patrons of the facility and to eliminate all hazards
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Must have practical experience in HVAC
Must have practical carpentry experience with an emphasis in drywall, painting, framing.
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work and communicate well with others
Must pass a national background check and drug screen
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly as well as stand on your feet for up to 10-12 hours.
Facilities Maintenance Qualifications:
Knowledge of manual and electrical hand tools
Knowledge of carpentry tools and material
Knowledge of HVAC, tools, and materials
Knowledge of OSHA standards and standard safety procedures

Basic Function: is responsible for day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs across multiple parking garages and surface lots. This role focuses on general upkeep, small construction tasks, and preventive maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and presentable.
Performing concrete and asphalt patching to maintain safe driving and walking surfaces.
Conducting light plumbing repairs, including faucets, drains, and small leaks.
Painting surfaces including walls, curbs, bollards, and touch-up work as needed.
Repairing and maintaining doors, locks, and hardware.
Completing general “fix-it” tasks including carpentry, signage installation, and minor equipment adjustments.
Assisting with seasonal maintenance: spreading salt and light shoveling of small walkways/ramps during winter months.
Supporting preventative maintenance programs and responding promptly to service requests.
Using hand tools and small power tools safely and effectively.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety hazards are promptly addressed.
