About the Job: The Maintenance Planner combines technical expertise with advanced planning to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of the maintenance process. Serving as the liaison between maintenance, production, and technical services, the Planner schedules maintenance work in advance to maximize the use of resources and minimize equipment downtime. The Planner provides leadership and guidance for effective operation of the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including maintaining the Equipment Register and administering the preventive/predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) programs. This role requires a strong background in maintenance and advanced computer skills. Key planning functions include reviewing and updating work requests, ensuring correct work order coding, initiating the material management process, coordinating expediting, and ensuring each planned task contains appropriate job instructions, procedures, and documentation. The Planner continuously reviews and updates Standard Scripts, Standard Jobs, Maintenance Standard Tasks, and Standard Job Parts Lists.
