Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager or Director of Facilities, the Facilities Maintenance Lead will lead the local Facilities team with day-to-day tasks/requests and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of facilities, and grounds. Additionally, the Facilities Maintenance Lead is responsible for leading projects or project sections involving the enhancement and design of all interior and exterior occupied space which includes the remodel of existing space and construction of new space.
The incumbent leads or assists in, facility inspections, building operations, maintenance, safety, and security. Also included are duties associated with the supervision of facilities employees which report directly to the incumbent. *Position is on-site in our Bloomington, IL office.*
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance (and lead/mentor/supervise team members) to the interior/exterior of facilities including, but not limited to, restrooms, break rooms, sidewalks, and lobby. Perform basic repairs and maintenance of building and equipment such as chairs, tables, doors, light fixtures, floor tiles, walls, pipes/plumbing, vents, ceiling tiles, picnic tables, awnings, and move file cabinets, hang pictures, banners, and decorations. Help keep facilities and grounds free of trash and debris.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and research mechanical issues to repair and/or provide recommendations to solve issues. Meet with vendors who provide maintenance to HVAC systems, fire, backflow, plumbing, electrical, security, and generator systems.
Ensure routine maintenance to the HVAC systems (belt, filter, and thermostat replacements), and assist with specific maintenance to the systems.
Assists in preparing construction specifications and project plans. Directs contracted projects to ensure adherence, follows all specifications. Assists management in solving issues with service providers. Coordinates all facility inspections; report findings and coordinates required repairs and/or replacements. Maintains and controls adequate building temperatures utilizing software systems at sites where applicable.
Work with maintenance vendors for mowing, trees, shrubs, bedding areas, and snow removal. Also works with janitorial vendor to ensure quality services are provided.
Work with vendors and fuel distributors on preventative maintenance plans. Inspect and perform weekly generator maintenance tests.

Minimum Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills):

Maintenance Manger
As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for establishing a world-class maintenance function to improve facility operations efficiency.
Essential Functions & Requirements:
* Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times

Monitors line station spare engine status and engine change kits.
Maintains liaison with Ground Operations and Flight Operations to ensure safe and dependable operations.
Enforces safety procedures and practices outlined in company manuals and industry standards.
Performs duties and responsibilities at field locations away from home base as assigned.
Flies on company aircraft as assigned to support aircraft operations around the world.
Performs self-audits of station(s) / geographic area as needed.
Develops and manages station(s) / geographic area budget(s).
Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Must hold a current and valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
Minimum of 7 years in aircraft maintenance
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
Must maintain Atlas Air qualification and authorization for Airworthiness Release.
Experience on 747/767 aircraft or equivalent wide body aircraft preferred.
Light Travel to meet business needs
Salary Range: $110,500 - 149,500

What You'll Do:
Safety oriented, work closely with site leadership, to implement safety improvement projects.

Accountable for scheduling, prioritization and execution of preventative maintenance, routine maintenance and all capital projects managed at the location. Lead the planning of off-season maintenance to ensure critical and non-critical equipment is serviced or replaced.
Serve as site contact for all capital projects and monitor / manage progress to ensure projects are completed within allotted time and budget parameters.
Ensure completion and updating appropriate records, documents, and/or reports (e.g. standard operating procedures, CORE permits, vendor/contractor verification, inventory, quality records, training manuals etc.).
Implement and monitor maintenance KPI's to reduce equipment downtime and drive continuous improvement.
Coordinate and mentor site in business planning development and review for assigned areas, establishing a five-year capital plan, including defined project scope and projected cost. Also, responsible for establishing a three-year maintenance plan and estimated costs.
Lead a team consisting of plant electricians, automation specialists, maintenance technicians, and a maintenance planner/scheduler. Be accountable for their development, and their work performance.
Lead the assigned team in developing resource plans for shift and/or seasonal labor needs.
Supports business improvement projects.
Education:
You have your High School Diploma/GED.
What Skills You Need:
You have industrial maintenance experience and/or experience in leading large-scale capital projects.
You have 3 years of leadership experience (i.e. program/process lead, supervisory experience, etc.).
You have strong interpersonal skills, including good written and verbal communication skills.
You have strong problem-solving skills and are solutions oriented.
You have good organization, prioritization and time-management skills in order to drive projects to on time completion.
You are experienced in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You have a valid US drivers license.
