Maintenance Manager
Plans, directs and monitors preventative and corrective maintenance and repair activities to ensure the company's buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment operate reliably and efficiently.
Essential Functions
* Oversees maintenance of injection molding, blow molding and packaging equipment.
* Oversees activities of maintenance department.
* Collaborates with Production Manager to schedule preventative maintenance activities.
* Responsible for building world-class mechanical and preventative maintenance teams that will keep production equipment in excellent condition, keep lines running high efficiencies and maintain proper stock of parts.
* Oversees outside contractors performing installations and projects at the facility.
* Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
* Hires, trains, coaches and reviews performance of employees. Works with HR for employee discipline issues, terminations and recruitment.
* Oversees safety team activities. Monitors and enforces safety requirements.
* Builds a positive work environment.
* Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
* Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.

Responsibilities:
Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
Carrying out inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues
Identifying, planning and implementing all necessary PM's to prevent mechanical issues
Planning and overseeing all repairs and installation activities
Monitoring equipment inventory and placing orders when necessary
Monitoring expenses and controlling the budget for maintenance
Applying maintenance skillset to complete various tasks in-house to reduce costs and meet budget goals
Leading a team of maintenance and janitorial associates, providing training and support as needed

This position is responsible for the management, training, scheduling and development of maintenance personnel providing support to the Maintenance areas at the West Jefferson, OH facility. This recently constructed facility is responsible for producing Premier Protein drinks.

**SUMMARY** **:**
The Maintenance Supervisor is accountable for leading, directing, and supervising plant reliability and maintenance personnel. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for keeping the equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition while on shift. The Maintenance Supervisor will be expected to run a professional quality maintenance team by exhibiting strong leadership abilities, setting expectations, and ensuring consistent communication with personnel. This position provides both Maintenance and Reliability services within the plant, championing executional excellence and asset health improvement efforts. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure results while partnering with the MFI ARM team, plant maintenance team personnel, plant operational team, and all other plant support teams members for success. This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Supervision and Direction: The Maintenance Person is responsible for operating and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment used to provide heating and hot water for the property, assuming the provision and maintenance of efficient building heat and air-conditioning functions including safety, maintenance, repairs, and other related services. The Maintenance Person will receive direction and instruction from the Site Manager and will coordinate their daily activities with that person.
Requirements
Senior Maintenance Technician job responsibilities include:
Take the lead role in troubleshooting, making adjustments to control systems, and ensuring the daily functioning of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, and security systems.
Maintain the physical asset of the property as directed by Management with a focus on those tasks that will require advanced skills and knowledge of apartment maintenance.
Respond quickly to deficiencies found in preventative maintenance inspections.
Work closely with Maintenance Technicians and train them to increase their skills.
Deliver excellent customer service.
Respond to all maintenance requests within 24 hours.
Ensure effective, professional, and timely follow-up with residents, vendors, and property management team on all maintenance services provided.
Adhere to and stay current on all applicable building codes, safety standards, and fair housing laws and ensure safety standards comply with all company, local, City, State, and Federal guidelines.
Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Guidebook. What You Bring to Us:
Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Maintenance Technician preferably in the Residential Property Management industry.
Team-oriented, sociable, assertive, objective, conscientious, tolerant, with a good eye for details; working effectively in both relaxed and more formal workplaces.
HVAC (CFC certification required); Electrical and Plumbing expertise and certification preferred.
Requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly through pushing, pulling, and climbing activities.
AA/AS degree in a technical/mechanical-related field is preferred.
Must be responsible for taking calls for after-hour's emergency maintenance, including nights and weekends on a rotational basis.
Ability to use a computer.
