**What you'll do:**
**Job Summary:**
The Maintenance and Reliability Manager leads asset lifecycle management and maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime of a 167,220 square foot facility with 24-hour operations. Responsibilities include overseeing process improvements, team development, budget management, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and coordination with other departments. The role utilizes data-driven methods and systems to monitor performance, manage contractors, and support operational goals.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the execution of comprehensive maintenance strategies that include preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Manage the lifecycle of manufacturing assets across the Amarillo Operation to ensure they are maintained in optimal condition.
- Partner with Site Leadership team to proactively identify and implement process improvements and best practices in maintenance and reliability. Utilize data-driven approaches to enhance equipment performance and reduce operational costs.
- Provide functional guidance and leadership to the Amarillo Plant Leadership team and Maintenance Organization. Provide training and development opportunities to build teams' organizational capabilities within the latest maintenance techniques and technologies.
- Develop and maintain a high-performing maintenance team of up to 25 non-exempt staff and two exempt staff with expertise in foundry, machining, and all plant processes, ensuring team skills are continuously aligned with evolving manufacturing technologies.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and safety.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations and company safety standards (LSR). Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
- Work closely with other departments, including production, engineering, and procurement, to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall operational goals.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance activities. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to efficiently manage, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance resources and activities, ensuring accurate tracking of work orders, preventive maintenance, asset history, and compliance with safety and reliability standards.
- Manage and coordinate external contractors and maintenance resources to ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards and operational requirements.
