The Maintenance Manager is accountable for overseeing the facility's comprehensive maintenance operations. This includes ensuring all equipment is operated and serviced in alignment with manufacturer guidelines, maintaining compliance with safety standards, and ensuring staff adhere to federal and state safety regulations. Purchase and manage all related maintenance supplies and plant equipment repair parts for all equipment in the facility. Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance. Manage relationships with contractors and service providers. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities. Coordinate with operations to ensure equipment is available for maintenance in advance of due dates. Document completion of task / PM in site's MMS systems and databases daily. Monitor operation of plant controls systems to minimize unplanned downtime. Report and investigate accidents and incidents to site supervision. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Job DescriptionDescription: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair, as well as install industrial equipment. Will work with pumps, motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems and production equipment. Fabricate parts for machine repairs and upgrades. Dismantle machinery, remove machine parts, repair, lubricate and reassemble machinery according to specification. Transport machine parts, tools and equipment. Operate forklift and other industrial equipment. Maintain repair, preventive and predictive maintenance records in internal operating system. Interact with Production, Tooling, Quality team members and Supervision to meet customer requirements. Requirements: Working knowledge and hands on experience with medium electrical circuitry, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and lock out tag out is required. Must be able to read/interpret blueprints. PLC troubleshooting and/or programming skills strongly preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in industrial maintenance is required, automotive manufacturing experience is preferred. Must be computer literate. Ability to work flexible hours and availability for overtime including weekend work is also required. Must have HS diploma/GED, technical training preferred.
