Supervisory Responsibility The Installation Supervisor is given necessary authority to manage and administer the following basic functions of this position: * With the approval of the Branch Manager; hire, fire, evaluate and discipline all personnel reporting to the department. * In conjunction with the Branch Manager establish goals and procedures for the installation staff. * Take any reasonable action necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position, so long as it is consistent with established company policy and sound business judgment. Work Environment * A high volume retail floor covering facility with included warehouse. Physical Demands * Standing, walking, sitting, squatting, bending, climbing, reaching, and turning as required to operate equipment, interface with staff and customers, and oversee operations. * Use of all body senses to perform computer data entry, answer phones, and communicate with staff, customers, installers and vendor representatives. * Must follow company policy with regard to dress and otherwise maintain a professional appearance. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travel Local travel is expected for this position.
