Pay Range
$96,300.00-$132,400.00 Annual
This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
Position Overview
The purpose of the Maintenance Managers role is to provide leadership to the maintenance departments responsible for equipment, property, buildings, and facilities for a manufacturing plant or multiple manufacturing plants. The Maintenance Manager will be primarily responsible for managing, implementing, and supporting best safety and environmental practices; identifying, troubleshooting and resolving process or maintenance issues; maintaining, repairing and updating all production equipment systems and facilities; managing and controlling maintenance costs; and overseeing and maintaining equipment performance.
Your Day-to-Day:
Supervise, set direction, delegate, and act as the technical expert to plant mechanical trades and other personnel in maintaining equipment and systems for maximum productivity levels
Lead maintenance department to maintain all production equipment, buildings and grounds
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve process or maintenance problems and develop action plans to resolve issue and improve reliability and up time
Identify and implement maintenance, safety, and environmental practices
Facilitate and document training and lead team based process and equipment improvements
Manage and control maintenance budget
Manage the maintenance and operations of the mobile equipment fleet and storeroom inventory
Support the Asset Care and Reliability process and continuous improvement program
Utilize predictive technologies
Support MRO responsibilities and implementation of capital projects
Maintain and enforce good housekeeping strategies and methodologies
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Team:
Bachelor's degree (preferably technical in nature) and 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment or
Journeyman's card and 7 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment or
Technical degree (2 year) in a maintenance related field and 7 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
Working knowledge of maintenance processes systems in manufacturing operation
Working knowledge of maintenance processes systems in manufacturing operation
Demonstrated ability to adhere and develop work processes and systems

· Performs scheduled maintenance on equipment based on the manufacturers operating manuals

EXPERIENCE: 3 years experience in an industrial maintenance environment or 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must possess the ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions at the high school level. Ability to read and follow schematic diagrams and blueprints. Must be able to use and understand the uses of various types of test equipment. Must be able to see and manipulate machine parts smaller than ¼". Must be able to read equipment manuals as well as electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Summary
The Campus Grounds Supervisor reports to the Assistant Director of Facilities Management to manage the operations and performance of the entire campus grounds, which include the main campus, athletic fields, and cross country trails, and for timely campus inclement weather response as needed. The position is responsible for providing high quality campus grounds experience to the community.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Manage student and staff employee labor in the department.
* Manage, develop, and motivate staff. Completing timely communication of performance evaluations. Inspecting the quality of work expected to be completed.
* Ensure campus needs are met, and all work practices remain consistent with all safety, quality, and department policy expectations.
* Conducting training, inspecting work products and procedures, tracking, and approving time.
* Ensure the department's full participation in the electronic work-request and preventative maintenance system in order to achieve appropriate performance metrics of the Grounds department staff, workload, and budget.
* Establish standards and procedures, focusing on strategies for departmental effectiveness.
* Work with the Assistant Director to plan ground renewal projects by evaluating campus landscapes and turf for improvement opportunities in quality, vitality, and aesthetic beauty.
* Watch for long-term care issues as they relate to campus landscapes, turf, shrubs, and trees. (i.e., disease, erosion, rot, pests, etc.)
* Oversee all areas of safety procedures and policies.
* Maintenance of the department's MSDS information.
* Participate in the development of the safety and emergency response plan for inclement weather, particularly for winter storms, which may include responding in the event of storms throughout the year.
* Maintain a safe and orderly shop work area, as well as work sites around campus.
* Identify and ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment and proper procedure in all chemical handling, confined space entry, and fire/explosion hazards within the department.
* Be able to work closely with the campus community in providing clear communication and assistance by:
* Responding to needs for outdoor campus events.

* Identify, schedule, manage, and perform all cultural activities required for the health and vitality of campus grounds, including but not limited to fertilizing, aerating, topdressing, chemical spraying, pesticides, pruning, mulching, and leaf removal.

* Evaluate and approve requisitions, as well as track supplies and materials in relation to keeping the department within budget.
