Seeking a highly qualified Building Maintenance Manager to oversee, coordinate and manage the operation and maintenance of all Refrigeration, Boilers, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire/Life systems in a 27/7 commercial food service kitchen, in addition to managing a fleet of hi-lift trucks for aircraft catering, ramp vans, and other company vehicles.
Essential Functions:
Provide leadership, supervision, and schedule of the Maintenance Team, tasks specific to skills, training in all kitchen facility operations, and encourage ideas, methods, and processes for improvement.
The daily operation is to repair and preventative maintenance (PM) of all MEP&R systems, fleet management, maintenance, and energy consumption and analysis.
Must maintain daily system performance logs with monthly summaries for Upper Management reviews to predict future expenses and post against annual budgets.
Must maintain and perform equipment PM tasks and record updates.
Maintain a complete inventory of all major building systems, manage warranty issues, and keep a listing of available outside resources to complement in-house maintenance efforts.
Conduct periodic inspections of the complete facility condition and infrastructure to ensure building upkeep and operational readiness-document and report deficiencies with recommended remediation.
Create plans, develop, and implement new procedures to improve operations while minimizing costs. Must know requisition tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations.
Ensure a safe work environment by watching and reporting on all safety issues, fire alarm status, and emergency systems.
Coordinate with all department heads to schedule PMs and downtimes, resulting in minimal disruption to operations. Define the scope of work, bid reviews, and manage small capital projects.
Other Responsibilities and duties will include, but not be limited to:
Able to perform cycle time, helpful life analysis on major systems components, repair-vs-replacement recommendations, and appropriate record keeping.
Able to direct other technicians and match available talents with tasks.

About the Role
The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting the safe, efficient, and visually polished operation of our retail food & beverage stores. They report to the Facilities Manager and will work closely with the Senior Maintenance Technician. Complete wall finishing work, including painting, patching, and surface repairs to maintain a clean and professional environment.
Safety, Compliance & Documentation
Follow all safety procedures, food safety standards, and company maintenance protocols.
Properly document maintenance work, repairs, and parts usage as required.
Identify potential safety risks and escalate issues appropriately.
Qualifications
5+ years' experience as a Facilities/Maintenance Technician (or similar role) supporting multi-unit restaurants, food & beverage or retail stores.
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and general facility maintenance.
HVAC/Refrigeration or small appliance repair certification is a plus!
Ability to read and interpret basic technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders.

Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance worker is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of The People Concern Willow Tree Inn. This position will ensure that The People Concern operates a clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities that meet industry and funding source standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for general cleaning of the facilities which includes sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, washing windows, cleaning and stocking restrooms, emptying trash, etc.
Assist with the completion of all minor repairs and facility rehabilitation, including interior and exterior facility grounds, buildings and equipment.
Implement a schedule of regular evaluation and preventative maintenance/repair tasks of the facilities ensuring the safety of the buildings from fire, flood, and other hazards.
Maintain inventory of supplies and tools.
Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of offices, restrooms, dining areas, dorms and common areas.
Assist with set-up and clean-up of major events and with the pick-up, loading, and unloading of supplies and donations.
Communicate regularly with all members of the team, to ensure effective two- way communication concerning maintenance issues.
Implement policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
One to three years' experience as a Facilities Maintenance worker in a commercial building, or an equivalent combination of education andexperience.
Effective interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Self-starter with the ability to stay ahead of the curve and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Working knowledge of workplace safety and illness and injury prevention practices
Able to read, speak, and understand directions in English
Able to maintain a pleasant attitude and a customer-service orientation at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish preferred
