Maintenance Supervisor FULL-TIME
$34/hr
This position is responsible for managing four basic goals: safety, downtime, budget and overtime.
Duties include:
- Completing work orders and preventative maintenance;
- Supervising designated maintenance/production crew;
- Ensuring tracking of budgets and product quality;
- Scheduling maintenance crews and production orders;
- Being responsible for logs and record keeping of safety for maintenance department.
The position will involve trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of frozen block grinders, final grinders, blenders, augers and conveyors. This position will all need a working knowledge of Vemag portion control equipment, Tray Denesting equipment, Omori over wrap equipment, Delford weight price labelers, Ulma Bag sealers, Pearson tapers, Bizzerba labelers, and various other industrial equipment.

Shift start: 1:30PM
Shift length: 9 hours
This position involves working on Sat & Sun., there is one day off during weekday.

**The Maintenance Supervisor** **is responsible for leading and directing plant maintenance activities; ensures that equipment and facilities are kept in optimum operating conditions.** **Typically found in a Sheet or Sheet Feeder plant, or small box plant. May be located in a larger box plant, but have limited to no previous supervisory experience.**
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

+ Report to Manufacturing Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes known, while providing technical expertise regarding plant equipment and facilities.

+ Initiate and/or maintain a cost-effective preventive maintenance program and Implement quality improvement and cost reduction ideas

+ Contact and work with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results.

+ Maintains adequate inventories of spare parts and Purchase materials, parts, and supplies as required.

+ Troubleshoot and solve problems.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Four years maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.

+ Candidates are **PREFERRED** who offer the following:

+ College and/or related technical courses.

+ Five years experience in the corrugated box industry with heavy experience in electronics,

+ Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity.

+ Demonstrated personnel supervisory skills.
