Schedule training to improve maintenance repair performance • Monitor use and maintain inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies and equipment. Establish optimal spares inventory levels to ensure effective maintenance operation. • Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulations including but not limited to cGMP, safety, SOP's, Quality System policies, etc. • Monitors and controls the costs associated with the Maintenance Department in order to reduce costs from previous years. • Ensure maintenance contractor compliance with plant safety and GMP requirements. • Participate as a member of engineering project teams regarding all areas of maintenance . Qualifications • B.S. degree in engineering required. • 8+ years of experience in a maintenance or facilities department with history of increasing responsibilities and demonstrated leadership. • Previous supervisory experience required. • Experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing TQM, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma is preferred. Must exhibit technical knowledge of the concepts. • Solid understanding of maintenance systems to include metrology and preventative/predictive maintenance. • Computer systems knowledge including experience with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), RS Logics. The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications Education and Experience: The candidate must have 3+ years of verifiable experience in supervising food manufacturing equipment maintenance. Ammonia Refrigeration Experience/Certification highly desired. Experience working in a USDA environment is a plus. Any certifications or equivalent technical training are a plus. The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Computer-literate and able to use associated software programs.
