They are currently recruiting for a Manager, Aircraft Maintenance in Kansas City, MO. What Is In It For You Salary: $92,000 - $130,000 + including potential bonuses (Recruiting and Incentive Programs) Position Type: Permanent - Full-time Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401K, Disability, Company-provided Life Insurance A Day in the Life of The Manager, Aircraft Maintenance As the Aircraft Maintenance Manager, you will manage assigned aircraft maintenance lines using production schedules, labor analysis, and budgetary information. Utilizes resources to manage entire aircraft maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alteration projects. Oversees product quality while ensuring maintenance tasks and functions are carried out in compliance with the applicable requirements of the air carrier maintenance program and its inspection procedures manual. Essential Duties of The Manager, Aircraft Maintenance Ensures the direction of maintenance programs is consistent with the company goals and targets. Directly responsible for oversight of the Aircraft Maintenance program. Coordinates with Quality Control to ensure, within company repair station limitations, that aircraft maintenance is performed and carried out in accordance with approved Federal Aviation, manufacturers, customers, and company procedures and requirements. Reviews customer program and FAA regulations to ensure compliance. Manages the overall maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alteration of, approves, and returns to service any aircraft or part thereof. Ensures communication of all significant information, including work, risk, safety, and quality. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum of five (5) years' recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience required. Minimum of three (3) years of aircraft maintenance supervisory experience is required. Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is required. PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, stand, and walk; use their hands and arms; talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Compensation This position's full base pay range is $92,000-$138,000 annually, exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired, your salary will be based on factors including skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors - we consider the internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus.     As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage projects, maintenance, and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and other building systems. This position will supervise the upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This position reports to the Property Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities: Interviews and trains maintenance department staff. Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of maintenance staff. Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Enforces company policies and coordinates any disciplinary actions of employees with the Property Manager and Corporate HR as needed. Responsibilities and Duties: Manages the day-to-day operations of the maintenance department. Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed. Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules. Develops maintenance procedures and schedules. Obtains services of outside contractors as needed. Coordinates renovations and new construction projects with vendors and management. Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner. Maintains appropriate inventory and supplies. Identifies purchasing needs and coordinates within budget allowances. Tracks serial numbers and unit location. Foreman checklist, semi-annual equipment Inventory, maintain pool, freon and capital improvements logs. Required Skills/Abilities: Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance and HVAC. Excellent time management, organizational, analytical, safety and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed. Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems. Excellent management and supervisory skills. Proficient with Google Suite or similar software and basic computer skills. Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals. Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation to fulfill the job requirements. Must be able to communicate effectively with tenants, contractors, and team members in English. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. At least five years of maintenance experience required. Pool certification, EPA certification, HVAC certification, Fair Housing Training preferred. Physical Requirements: .Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance. Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed. Prolonged periods sitting, standing, bending, climbing or at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds at a time. Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
