Job Description

Such repairs will include but are not limited to hydraulic valve and pump replacements, hydraulic lines and piping, mechanical devices, wire tie systems and inserters. Must able to remove and install gear boxes and chain drives, including all aspects of repairs to these components. Must be able to install and align all types of drives and replace different types of drive belts. Must be able to fabricate, repair and install all types of guarding on material handling equipment at the plant. Must be able to repair high pressure air systems and their components. Must be able to repair building plumbing systems and their components. Must be able to fit, install and repair all type of piping and tubing systems, to include steel, plastic, brass, copper and rubber piping and tubing systems.
Electrical: Must able to troubleshoot and replace electric circuits and systems to include but not limited to motors, fuses, circuit breakers, contactors, sensing switches and devices, control wiring and transformers. Must be able to restore production machinery from and electrical failure or fault. Must be able to read schematics and drawings. Must be able to repair and replace failed lighting circuits and components.
Rigging and Lifting: Must be able to use chain falls, come-alongs , hoists, lifts and tele-handlers to safely rig and move equipment and parts or components for installation or replacement from repairs. Must know how to safely strap and use chains to secure equipment or material for lifting. Must be able to safely use hydraulic lift and portable power units.
Must be able to safely and effectively use the following electrical test equipment: volt meters, ammeters, ohm meters and meggers both digital and analog.
