Under the direction of the Senior Director, Mineral Fiber Operations while collaborating with plant leadership teams, this leader is accountable for: Developing, leading and managing Mineral Fiber Operations Reliability Strategy and Standards with a focus on driving improvements in condition of assets, process heath, and work practices and skills to increase PR/OEE and reduce costs Identifying and implementing Mineral Fiber Operations Maintenance Management Best practices in the areas of cost control, preventive and predictive maintenance, precision skills and downday effectiveness Champions reliability and maintenance skill and competency development across broad operational leaders and executors in support of the Company's strategy. Travel: Domestic travel required; approximately 26%-50% Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering. Experience will be considered in lieu of a degree Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing, maintenance and plant leadership experience Supervisory experience Demonstration of effective interactive skills with all levels of the organization to drive improvements and actions and facilitate behavioral change related to eliminating reliability defects Experience with equipment maintenance techniques, such as Precision Maintenance and TPM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide leadership, direction, and operational oversight for maintenance teams across multiple facilities within the region. Develop and monitor regional maintenance strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, safety standards, and operational needs. Oversee planning, scheduling, and delegation of maintenance activities to ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency. Partner with HR and senior leadership to recommend and execute personnel actions, including hiring, development, promotions, and performance management for site-level maintenance teams. Maintain regional maintenance records, inspections, repair logs, and asset tracking; generate and present operational reports to the General Manager and executive leadership. Manage regional maintenance budgets, including procurement of supplies, spare parts, and equipment, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to company guidelines. Champion safety initiatives and sanitation practices across all facilities, reinforcing a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. Act as a primary point of contact for escalated facility emergencies, providing guidance and decision-making support during critical situations. Minimum Requirements: Proven multi-site or large-facility maintenance leadership experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments. Strong mechanical aptitude with extensive knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, industrial equipment, and facility systems. High proficiency in computer systems, WMS platforms, and work order management tools; ability to analyze data and produce actionable reports. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. Some college coursework preferred; equivalent maintenance leadership experience in industrial or distribution settings will be considered. Secure customer approval for all incremental business. Confidently discuss pricing and scope changes with the customer. Collaborate with the Territory Account Manager to support sales opportunities. Job Requirements: Education / Experience Associate degree, 2-year Technical Degree, or Equivalent Military experience required. 2 years' experience within the valve service industry, industrial plant maintenance, or valve sales. Knowledge of process control and equipment applications for the industrial valve and instrument market as well as outage. Project Management experience. Key Competencies Strong leadership and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements related to outages. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in Project Management (PMP) or a related certification. Experience in the energy or utilities industry. Travel Requirements Ability to travel within the mid-Atlantic region (PA, NJ, MD, DE) up to 50% of the time. 100% travel during Outage seasons.
