Location: Seattle, WA (Seattle Tacoma International Air Port)
Shift: Must be open to 1st and 2nd
Pay: $31.25-$38.50/Hr.
Operates, inspects, and maintains all HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain most efficient operating results and life expectancy. Assures that site equipment is being maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner and that down time is reduced to a minimum by anticipation of necessary repairs keeping records of past operating experiences. Performs inspections and repairs to assigned property interior and exterior areas, including walls and flooring, installed fixtures, roofing systems, lighting, etc.
Site Maintenance
Oversee the preventative maintenance program which can include - scheduling of preventative maintenance with a minimum disruption of building services, performing and/or delegating preventative maintenance tasks to maintenance team members orders parts and equipment required for repair, maintenance and installation of new or legacy equipment, and maintains inventory.
Maintains good facility relations through prompt and courteous response to facility requests within the guidelines set forth by JLL and Client.
Responsible for assisting the building engineering team with protecting and improving the value of the client's assets and ensuring that building engineering systems continue to perform their intended function.
Performs building and utility plant maintenance across the site including but not limited to carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, mill wright, and machinist functions.
Monitor the quality of maintenance work performed by outside contractors and/or more junior staff.
Work closely with contractors. Assist in providing access to machinery rooms, electric closets and other restricted areas, as assigned by the Assistant Chief Engineer or other supervisor.
Perform daily building rounds and document readings on equipment logs.
Compliance
Ensure that work performed in facility space is accomplished with a minimum of disruption and is followed by adequate cleanup
Review monthly facility service request summaries to pinpoint and correct recurrent operational problems
Complies with all written JLL and regional company policies.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
Must possess (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in technical aspects of machinery, plumbing, electrical, equipment repair and maintenance.
Skills and knowledge
Must be proficient using computers & software programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer, etc.

What You Will Do
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances. Repair and maintain interior and exterior features of the property, including doors, windows, walls, flooring, and fixtures. Respond to maintenance requests from residents, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
Prepare vacant units for new residents, including painting, cleaning, and repairing or replacing damaged or worn items. Ensure that all units meet the community's standards for cleanliness and functionality before new residents move in.
Conduct regular inspections of the property, including common areas, equipment, and building systems, to identify maintenance needs. Implement and follow a preventive maintenance schedule to reduce the likelihood of equipment failure or costly repairs.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as plumbing leaks, electrical outages, or HVAC failures. Be available for on-call duty as required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

About the Role

What you'll do:

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and reliable Maintenance Manager on Duty to join the Equinox team! This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.
The main purpose of this position is to ensure that club and exercise equipment are kept clean and well maintained. The Maintenance Manager on Duty plays a major role in leading the maintenance team and supporting the Maintenance Manager and management team.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Extensively train all new and existing staff to the Equinox expectation.
* Notify maintenance manager of any and all operational issues.
* Assist maintenance manager in all club related special projects (floor cleaning, high dusting, advanced equipment repair, etc.)
* Inspect and maintain all cleaning equipment used by club employee's (mop pads, buckets, pails, floor scrubbing machines, ladders, dolly's, hand trucks, rags, etc.
* Inspect and repair all club equipment on a daily basis (cardio/strength equipment, cardio theater system, climate control, club's overhead and studio music systems.)
* Full knowledge of all cleaning supplies and recommended chemicals.
* Responsible for inventory, restocking, and replacement of all maintenance supplies (lighting, locker room supplies, laundry supplies, maintenance chemicals, towels, etc.)
* Perform all other projects and responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual should meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications:
* Awareness of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
* Experience with cleaning products.
* Ability to organize work.
* Ability to service athletic equipment (when applicable).
* Ability to work with hand tools and cleaning equipment.

Summary: The Facilities support will support all aspects of SVDP location functions and ensures the safety and functionality of all facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities/ Maintenance : The duties and responsibilities of this position shall include, but not be limited to the following. Other duties and responsibilities assigned as needed by supervisor.
Apply related general maintenance skills, such as painting and drywall, installing doors and locks and performing other related tasks.
Knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools.
Perform minor electrical tasks such as replacing burnt lights, fixing broken outlets, and handling data/power cable installations.
Carry out plumbing works including replacing faucets, unclogging drains, installing/replacing sink and repair leaks.
Perform facility repairs, installations, small construction remodeling, preventive and corrective maintenance all properties.
Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance of all properties.
Must be able to come in during off-hours when emergencies arise.
Demonstrate familiarity with HVAC systems and the ability to operate and troubleshoot AC units.
Maintains clean and organized workspace and warehouse at all times. Maintain an updated record and inventory of equipment and tools in the warehouse.
Complete tasks and projects in a time manner, within the planned timeframe and with expected quality.
Work directly with supervisor and other management to insure that all facilities are maintained in proper working condition.
