Job Description Summary/Objective This position manages and assists in the completion of the day-to-day activities, including improving maintenance, automation, and manufacturing processes and developing the maintenance team for optimum efficiency. The Maintenance Manager will lead preventative and autonomous maintenance processes through continuous improvement. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The employee works in a humid and wet environment at times and could also be exposed to cold conditions in the coolers. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use fingers to type. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions The majority of the work day is spent indoors performing repairs inside of apartments and when performing computer related work. Exposure to seasonal temperatures occurs during summer and winter months. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
