Must be able to work with very little supervision.
Must be able to safely rebuild electrical equipment as needed.
Must be able to work with the parts room and purchasing personnel to assure parts required for jobs assignments are in stock.
Strictly follows all safety procedures and uses all required personal protective equipment.
Management retains the discretion to modify or change these duties at any time.
Must be willing and able to learn complex mechanical and electrical systems within the plant to allow proper troubleshooting and repair functions
Required Qualifications:
Must have minimum of two years verifiable experience in industrial maintenance as an electrician or an accredited certificate or degree in an electrical discipline.
Past verifiable experience with electrical and control systems.
Past verifiable experience working with relays, proximity switches, level controls and temperature controls.
Must have verifiable experience working with VFD equipment as well as related field controls.
Must have basic working knowledge of instrumentation involving low voltage and PID/control loops.
Must have experience working with AC, DC, high voltage (480VAC) and low voltage (12V - 24V) applications.
Must have experience working with variable speed drives including servo, AC and DC.
Must be capable of performing mathematical calculations required in calibration and programming applications.
Must have knowledge of shop electrical test equipment; i.e. VOM, AMP Meter, Megger etc.
Must be organized and able to work in a precise and controlled manner.
Must be able to lift in excess of 25 pounds.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders to extreme heights.
Requires initiative and self motivation.
Must work well with maintenance and production personnel.
Must have the ability to think and draw natural conclusions.
Must have the ability to make correct decisions at the appropriate time.
Must have the ability to learn all the functions and processes of the facility.

This is a 1st shift position at our Monett facility working Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm with mandatory overtime as needed. Candidates will need to be available for O/T during the week and/or weekends when needed to support production schedules and machine breakdowns.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action. Makes necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
Makes recommendations to MaintenanceSupervisor about set up, maintenance schedules and processes, and potential outsourcing of maintenance projects.
Performs routine preventive maintenance duties that include; machine lubrication, chemical changes in wash/dip tanks, belt changing, and equipment inspections to minimize repair cost and prevent equipment failures.
Assist in the set up of new machinery and facility layout.
Work within the company maintenance tracking system to assist in maintaining a record of preventative and regular maintenance performed.
Communicates equipment failures and unsafe conditions to the MaintenanceSupervisor.

Experience and Skills:
3+ Years Engineering/Maintenance experience, hotel environment highly preferred
Previous professional HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Construction experience a plus

The Maintenance Technician I will be responsible for the set-up, repairs and preventive maintenance of all production and fill/finish equipment, as well as, building and grounds repair and upkeep. This position will also performance maintenance and repairs on boiler equipment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Execute the CMMS preventive maintenance program of all equipment associated with the production and facility areas.
Maintain, organize, and replenish strategic inventory of spare parts.
Recommend and implement changes to work policies and equipment procedures.
Perform, recommend, and establish cost effective PM procedures to maintain and improve equipment/system functionality.
Help develop and review PMs and SOPs.
Support more senior Maintenance Technicians in larger equipment repairs.
Perform routine greasing and lubrication maintenance on equipment.
Perform equipment maintenance, grounds work and facility support.
Perform preventive maintenance, grounds work, and facility support.
Properly document all work in CMMS system.
Assist more senior Maintenance Technicians and outside support contractors.
Follow and hold others accountable for following all company Good Manufacturing Practices.
Other duties as directed by supervisor.
Workplace Safety:
Completes safety system documentation and verifies compliance to program standards. Reports deviations to Supervisor.
Participates in mandatory safety trainings and adheres to all safety policies.
Required to report all safety issues, near misses, and injuries.
Quality & Food Safety:
Completes quality & food safety system documentation and verifies compliance to program standards. Reports deviations to Supervisor.
Participates in mandatory food safety and quality training program requirements

Special projects/duties as assigned by maintenancesupervisor or manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Required
High school diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of experience in machine maintenance, building maintenance, preventative maintenance, carpentry, electrical, heating and cooling systems, plumbing and/or electrical
Basic welding experience
Able to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Have or obtain tools needed to perform the above tasks
Operational knowledge of common hand, power, and industrial tools
Valid Driver's License

Experience in pneumatics, hydraulics
