A Day in the Life of The Manager, Aircraft Maintenance
As the Aircraft Maintenance Manager, you will manage assigned aircraft maintenance lines using production schedules, labor analysis, and budgetary information. Utilizes resources to manage entire aircraft maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alteration projects. Oversees product quality while ensuring maintenance tasks and functions are carried out in compliance with the applicable requirements of the air carrier maintenance program and its inspection procedures manual.
Essential Duties of The Manager, Aircraft Maintenance
Ensures the direction of maintenance programs is consistent with the company goals and targets.
Directly responsible for oversight of the Aircraft Maintenance program.
Coordinates with Quality Control to ensure, within company repair station limitations, that aircraft maintenance is performed and carried out in accordance with approved Federal Aviation, manufacturers, customers, and company procedures and requirements.
Reviews customer program and FAA regulations to ensure compliance.

Compensation
This position's full base pay range is $92,000-$138,000 annually, exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired, your salary will be based on factors including skills, education, and experience. Performs repair, rebuilding or overhaul work of manufacturing or service equipment from blueprints, company manufacturing manuals, written or verbal instructions.
Starts up and shuts down equipment in line with company safety procedures for equipment under power and OSHA requirements.
Plans setup and operates typical machine shop machine tools, producing parts to tolerances and company specifications. Uses typical machinist's hand tools.
Sets up and tests production equipment under power, testing for mechanical difficulties, tracing to their sources and correcting problem.
May operate equipment during relief periods.
Performs product examination and rework when line is down due to causes beyond mechanic's control.
Keep work area clean and organized.

Required Qualifications

This is a full-time position, on-site at the manufacturing facility. The hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, 40 hours per week.
