Responsibilities This role oversees, manages and leads the daily operation of Maintenance Control department and reports to the Sr. Manger of Maintenance Control. GENERAL Directs and coordinates the activities of Aircraft Mechanics engaged in maintenance and repair of Company aircraft, components and related equipment in accordance with FAA and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. Develops, maintains, and revises employee work schedules as necessary to keep adequate personnel on staff for the workload as planned. Supervises record keeping for time and production information. Ensures that maintenance personnel do not exceed 14 CFR limitations regarding duty time. Completes employee evaluations and discuss them with the individual employees, making suggestions and recommendations for improvement in performance as indicated. Discusses such evaluations with upper management prior to the employee review meeting. Enforces discipline and Company rules and regulations throughout the organization. Recommends measures to improve production methods and efficiency within the maintenance operation; works with Quality Control and Maintenance Administration to implement new or revised procedures. Make suggestions to improve working conditions or in the use of new tooling and equipment to increase shop capability. Position Specific Accountabilities Assist the Assistant Athletic Director Game Operations/Facilities in the scheduled game operations, team support and events management plan for all athletic programs that host home events at LMU. Responsibilities: · Works directly with Director of Operations and outside contractor/vendor partners to execute FOH & BOH restaurant construction. · Performs equipment repair vs. replacement analysis and recommends most cost effective, efficient and expeditious solution. · Conducts weekly visits (or more depending on need) to each unit within area of responsibility to perform walk through with GM to proactively identify maintenance issues. · Documents and reports findings, addresses maintenance concerns not previously corrected. · Conducts facility training days with GMs in their respective areas. · Follows up on preventive maintenance activities. · Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs for all major systems in the restaurant. Coordinates program specifications, requirements for proposals, contracts, and associated documents. · Maintains integrity of all vendor documents including but not limited to Certificates of Insurance and Licenses. · Acts as the single point of contact for all facility issues experienced in their assigned restaurants that are not handled routinely through the use of work order management system. · Maintains and monitors the work order management system on a daily basis. Identify areas without qualified, approved vendors and solicit and qualify new vendors for all major trades. · Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance. · Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards · Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs · Supervise all staff facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors · Control activities like waste disposal, building security etc. Requirements Proven experience as Maintenance Manager or relevant position · Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices · Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, English/Spanish bilingual preferred but not required · Proper organizational and leadership skills · Resourceful/critical thinking · Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFM) will be an advantage
