BENEFITS - We offer a competitive hourly wage and benefit package SALARY - $27 - $32 per hour Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: Repair and maintain mechanical parts in our production plant and facilities, including; Conveyors, elevators, dryers, mixing tanks, screens, etc. Inspect and troubleshoot machinery to determine cause of malfunction or extent of wear or damage Repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electronic components of electrical equipment using standard tools and gauges Follow all OSHA safety regulations Follow all company safety policies and procedures when performing repairs and preventative maintenance tasks. Cuts and fits parts for assembly of new machinery and repair existing equipment. Weld and cut using Oxygen/Acetylene process procedures. Understands mechanics of equipment repairs and replacement of bearings, drives, and electrical motors. Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams a plus. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Vocational training a plus Candidate will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions. Your Responsibilities as a Gas Service Tech Responsible for repairing paint coatings on affected pipes Responsible for checking gas meters for leaks and corrosion. Previous outdoor experience is a plus. Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed. Ability to travel locally during the business day; some out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected. Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position). Valid driver's license and a safe driving record Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs. Able to distinguish between colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities. Computer proficiency Able to read, understand, and reference locate tickets, as well as maps and prints; possess basic math skill to calculate distances.
