Under general supervision, the Maintenance Worker II must be a self-starter and will be responsible for the following job duties: Metal working; welding (stainless steel), constructing sheet metal fabrications and machining with manual machines (mill, lathe, band saws, etc.). Service, maintain and repair commercial/industrial (HVAC) air handling equipment. Perform architectural work; renovations, painting, carpentry, building repairs and preventive maintenance to building structures. This position is responsible for providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing repairs to fixtures and systems in a manufacturing environment. Working under minimal supervision as a member of a self-directed work team, this is a multi-craft position that may perform machine repairs and general non-licensed maintenance work, as well as support other licensed trades as directed.
