Solid and practical understanding of hyperscale electrical and mechanical systems. Experience with inspecting, supervising, and swiftly resolving critical equipment malfunctions. 7+ years of hands on experience in maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure systems. In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA regulations specifically related to data center environments. Industry certifications such as Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or similar are a plus.
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in the maintenance and operation of critical infrastructure systems. Experience with inspecting, and resolving critical equipment malfunctions Physical ability to perform tasks that require sitting, standing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Capability to work in varying temperature environments (60°F to 110°F) and follow OSHA work-rest cycles. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including 8, 10, and 12-hour day and graveyard shifts, with a readiness for overtime as decided by business needs.

Job Purpose: The General Utilities Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Barilla America's general utilities, HVAC related equipment, and other building related issues. This is a day time position.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist in preparation and implementation of the General Utilities preventative maintenance schedule.

Be an active participant in all Safety and Environmental Team, training and inspection activities throughout the plant.
Additional Information:
Education/Work Experience: A high school diploma/GED is required for this position. Previous work experience in the general utilities functions of a plant/production facility is required. HVAC experience is required. A general working knowledge of computers or experience with Microsoft Office is helpful.
Physical/Mental/Organizational Capabilities: The individual must possess the ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, climb stairs and ladders, lift at least 100 lbs., and have manual dexterity for tool use. Problem solving, troubleshooting and decision making skills are also required.

We'll count on you to:
Estimate time spent on each essential duty varies by location and specific needs of the office.

Install and maintain new office equipment. Makes recommendations to supervisor when contractor assistance is needed.
Erect or modify office space, including moving systems, furniture, and equipment. Set up tables, chairs and presentation equipment in the training room(s) for company events.
Perform snow removal as needed. Operate snowplow and/or snow blower, hand shovels, sweeps, and spreads sand and/or salt to maintain safe roadways, parking lots, and sidewalks. May perform seasonal groundskeeping duties including mowing, planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching.

Qualifications

Work closely with Production Team to ensure quality and productivity objectives are met or exceeded. Conduct routine, extensive, timely preventative maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems. Work with Plant Manager and Production Team to develop new and creative ideas to improve productivity. Ensure safe practices in performing maintenance and machine operation functions in compliance with Company Safety Policy/Procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Troubleshoot and repair equipment that is down or in need of repair:
* Perform timely and professional troubleshooting tasks such as Robotic, electrical, mechanical, welding, and pneumatic.
* Troubleshoot three phase, single phase, PLC controlled equipment, control circuits, motors, VFD's and test fuses as well as troubleshoots apparatuses such as level probes, limit switches, switches, photo eyes and proximity switches.
* Troubleshoot gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, elevators, gates, fans, dryer, dust collectors, palletizers and baggers. Welding may consist of arc welding steel and the use of a cutting torch. Most welding would be repair welding with some fabricating. Pneumatic maintenance may consist of troubleshooting air compressors, air dryers, air cylinders, air valves and air solenoids.
* Maintain facility and facility systems: Perform building maintenance and/or repair of building systems. For example, door repair, dock repair, changing light bulbs, minor plumbing, heater repair and changing HVAC filters.
* Preventive maintenance on all equipment: Need to complete daily, monthly and annual preventative maintenance check lists in a timely manner. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment in the plant. This may consist of inspecting, greasing, cleaning or repairing production equipment to insure uninterrupted production capability. Checklists may be provided for the minimum amount of preventative maintenance to be performed.
* Operate appropriate hand and power tools for performing maintenance: Efficiently use wrenches, pliers, socket sets, screwdrivers, punches, hammer, and other hand tools. Operate drills, drill press, and grinders safely and efficiently.
* Responsible for notifying the designated person to order the parts needed for maintenance: Identify parts needed to repair equipment. For example, sprockets for conveyor or belt size and length needed for conveyor. Must be able to look up parts in machine manuals and identify what is needed for the repair.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times, including an organized parts room. Maintenance personnel will be designated a workbench with tools and will be responsible for the work area and the tools. Leaving tools or debris lying around is unacceptable.
* Perform maintenance task using appropriate safety equipment and safety procedures (i.e.: lockout tag out, guarding, confined space, use of respirators and fall protection). Maintenance will be required to follow company's lock out tag out policy. Replace all guards before putting a piece of equipment back into service after working on it. Use a respirator in certain location working in the plant. Adhere to the company's policy on fall protection.
* Provide backup to workers engaged in production, warehousing, inventory management, and shipping as needed to facilitate an accurate order-fulfillment process.
* Optimize efficiency, productivity, and equipment performance in order to meet objectives. Develop, implement, and verify standard operating procedures (SOP) for all job-related tasks.
* Ability to be on-call during all production shifts for troubleshooting assistance and be available to travel to plant as needed.
* Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
* Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Technical knowledge and skills equivalent to a vocational technical degree. Vocational degree/certificate and 3+ years' experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.

GSE Mechanic/Facility Technician The GSE Mechanic/Facility Technician will be required to inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles (Ground Support Equipment) as well as make repairs to diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. The GSE Mechanic will work closely with the Facility/GSE Manager, Operations Manager and Line Service Department to provide safe, mechanically sound GSE equipment and facilities.
Essential GSE Functions
* Comply with and ensure accountability for Company policies and procedures related to GSE standards, safety, and security procedures
* Establish, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for site's fleet of ground service equipment and fuel far
* Perform repairs on downed equipment
* Maintain stock of necessary parts and fluids in accordance with the PMS and consistent with guidance from the Operations Manager and General Manager
* Oversee QC program in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
* Perform facility maintenance as needed.
* Maintain parts and tools inventories.
* Ensure a culture that promotes first class customer service and safety through daily observations, shift briefings, routine audits, usage of Baldwin SMS, monthly service/safety meetings, training, and documented service/safety procedures
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers and business partners
* Additional duties as directed by the Facility/GSE Manager, Operations Manager or General Manager from time to time
Essential Facility Functions
As a part of our Facilities Team, your job would involve but not be limited to:
* Daily cleaning of building to include restrooms, common areas, removal of garbage
* Special projects to keep building and grounds in top condition
* Assist management as requested
* Facilities maintenance which may include; replacing of lightbulbs, cleaning floors, and other various cleaning and minor maintenance duties

The Roof Technician's duties may include, but are not limited to:
* Remove and install commercial roofing systems in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements / Qualifications

* Current, valid driver's license is required.
* Pre-employment drug and job assessment screens are required.
* Must be capable of the strenuous activity required to tear off, carry, and dispose of roofing material.
* The work schedule is varied sometimes beginning work very early and working until late in the day. Working at night or on weekends may be necessary.
* Roofing work may require extensive travel.
* Job requires extensive bending, climbing, lifting, kneeling, pulling, pushing, sitting and standing for extended periods of time. Most tasks will take place on the roof and will require exposure to the cold, heat, rain, sun, wind, and various heights. Must be able to climb up a 60-foot ladder safely with three-point contact; must be able to lift up to 90 pounds and push up to 200 pounds.
