Main Purpose of the job:
This position coordinates and supervises MaintenanceTechnicians based on daily support to entire site, outstanding work orders, and special/emergency requests in accordance with individual Technician's skills and abilities. Maintain sound communication with MRO to ensure needed maintenance parts, equipment inventory reports are correct, and calculate minimum reorder levels. Compile maintenance reports such as downtime, work orders, preventative maintenance schedule, etc.. These activities are carried out to ensure management information is available in a timely and accurate manner, and to assist in scheduling daily maintenance activities in an optimum manner.

Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of Utilities/Facilities/Production equipment

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FACILITIES/OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICIAN)
Looking for a Facilities Technician (Electrician) with a
strong
background in industrial 3-phase power systems. Journeyman license preferred, but not required.
Key Duties Include:
Support power systems configuration and validation in support of mission requirements
Conduct maintenance, repair, and modifications of all electrical systems; systems include Switchgear, UPS Backup Systems, Standby Generators, Lightning Protection Systems, and Building Grounding Systems
Perform hands-on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, modification, upgrading, and testing of various facility systems
Perform other facility maintenance tasks on HVAC and mechanical systems
Perform mission operations including customer support, facility operation, and propellant operations (valet, loading, decontamination)
May provide cleanroom services and oversee vendors as required
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FACILITIES/OPERATIONS ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Qualified applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience. Must have a strong electrical background with 3-phase industrial power systems experience. Experience with general facility maintenance highly desired. Experience with cleanroom environments is preferred. Position requires a high attention to detail, a results-focused team player than can adapt to change with demonstrated initiative and accountability. Must be a self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.
Must have a basic knowledge of computer use to include Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have experience reading and understanding operational procedures and schematics. Position requires working with hazardous chemicals. Must be able to fulfill the physical requirements of the job. Must complete all required training to become a Fully Qualified Propellant Handler. Position requires accessing overhead cranes at 100 feet. Must be able to hold a security clearance, up to Top Secret level, to retain employment, and will be subject to a government security investigation. Must be able to work weekends, overtime, and off-shift hours for customer support if required. Must be able to complete tasks with limited supervision of work.

Performs carpentry repairs to buildings and quarters such as constructs, installs, repairs and replaces items such as doors, shelves, supply racks, hardware, frame structures, windows, trim and cabinets; replaces defective siding, steps, windowsills and thresholds.
* Replaces glass panes and damaged portions of concrete or wooden walks and/or steps.
* Applies premixed paints or stains to masonry, gypsum board or wood surfaces; paints various types of structures such as interior and exterior metal, wood and masonry surfaces, and a variety of wooden trim and new and old cabinets; paints garbage cans, racks, and picnic tables and signposts; assists higher-level employees by mixing or stirring paints, moving drop cloths and scaffolds, and cleaning walls in preparation for painting.
* Performs plumbing tasks such as replacing hose bibs, valves, nipples, unions and elbows, fixtures, toilets, flush valves, faucets, and various types of pipe and copper lines.
* Cuts and thread pipe and winterizes water systems. Other duties include repairing roofs, performing electrical repairs, and performing masonry work and repairs.
Physical Demands: Physical effort is heavy to moderate and requires occasional lifting or handling of objects or materials up to 50 pounds, unassisted, following proper lifting procedures to avoid injury. Frequently required to stand while working, climb ladders or scaffolding, and bend, stoop, climb, and work in awkward positions.
Working Conditions: Exposed to a variety of seasonal weather conditions while working outdoors (temperatures -40 to 90+ degrees). Subject to danger of falling from ladders or scaffolding. Exposed to dust, dirt, wind, and rain. May work with dangerous chemicals and around moving equipment, paints, solvents, etc. May be exposed to electrical shocks and biting insects.

The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor oversees and maintains an effective fleet maintenance program to ensure that fleet vehicles are maintained in an effective and safety conscious manner. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor oversees and maintains an effective fleet maintenance program to ensure that fleet vehicles are maintained in an effective and safety conscious manner. The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will be able to perform duties in a timely manner and advise leadership of any potential issues that could affect the overall performance and longevity of the fleet.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide daily guidance and support to on-site technicians to ensure all maintenance work is performed in a safe, efficient and timely manner
Responsible for maintenance, service, diagnosing, major repair of fleet vehicles and monthly PM compliance (in multiple yards when required)
Ensure shop or facility is clean and kept in a safe, professional working manner
Plan and schedule team workloads based on preventative maintenance tasks, utilizing budget and personnel
Manage and maintain company RTA maintenance program, work order data and recurring preventative maintenance schedules
Ensure vehicle documentation (i.e., registration, insurance, etc.) is current and kept in vehicle as required.
Track and provide recurring maintenance data reports to Management
Review DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports) and distribute the noted defects via work orders to the correct personnel for repair/defect correction and confirmation of Mechanic sign off's on the DVIR
Ensure all company safety policies are frequently reviewed, tailgated & enforced. (LOTO, Hot Works, Fall Protection etc.)
Report any in yard(s) spills, falls, incidents to Division Manager as required
Coordinate and direct the activities of all shop personnel including mechanics and welders
Assign tasks for the mechanical repair of heavy duty refuse trucks
Maintain parts inventory and container tracking
Monitor maintenance work flow and ensures tasks are completed in a timely manner and to company standards
Administer DOT and preventative maintenance programs while ensuring shop personnel is following safe work practices
Process employee requests including vacation, PTO's etc. and assists with the scheduling of time off
Coach and develop employees by continuously communicating with team members and providing guidance for improvement and recognition of efforts
Handle and resolve employee relations issues and incorporates consistent and timely disciplinary standards, preparation, and documentation of corrective action notices
Follow and administer company safety programs by conducting monthly safety meetings, facility inspections and ensuring compliance to all OSHA and DOT regulations as well as SWPPP compliance
Investigate and complete reports for work related injuries and/or vehicle accidents/incidents and submits paperwork to appropriate insurance carriers in a prompt manner
Train new shop personnel on company training program and proper use of assigned equipment.
Responsible for submitting incident alert emails on same day of occurrence
Responsible for answering action item related emails in prompt manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a fleet repair facility and heavy-duty Mechanics as well as thorough knowledge of HD engines, transmissions and mechanical repairs.
A valid California Driver's license, required
Commercial Driver's license preferred
ASE certification for alternative fuels is a plus
COMPETENCIES:
Strong organizational skills and ability to motivate large groups
Good decision making, problem solving and communication skills
Knowledge with DOT and OSHA regulations
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
The job involves outdoor work and exposure to various weather conditions. Flexible working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required to accommodate waste collection schedules. This position is exposed to changing road conditions and closures.
This job requires the ability to lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs., perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
