JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms
Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations
Paints, replaces electrical accessories, maintains HVAC
Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs
Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner
Fulfills work orders in a timely manner
Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems
Perform various other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred
Preferred but not necessary, one (1) year of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines
In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Basic math skills
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Building Maintenance Tech (Full-Time/ Weekends)

Pay: $20- $22/hr Schedule: Day shift with weekends Job Responsibilities As a Maintenance Staff Member, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical systems and equipment are operational and properly maintained and all common areas are maintained in a clean aesthetically appealing and disinfected condition.
Additional Duties:
* Routinely walks floors including roof checking for problems and lights out and reports back to supervisors.
* Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
* Maintains working relationship with building staff.
* Painting of all common areas and touch up may be required. Responsible for inspecting areas that need paint and advise manager.
* Completes daily work orders as scheduled.
* Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.
* Properly performs casual labor, such as lifting/moving heavy items as directed by supervisors and following appropriate safety procedures.

Requirements
The Groundskeeper & Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of exterior and common areas within the community.
