Requirements Job Duties & Functions Assist with the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment. Change out light bulbs; perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms to include: vinyl repair, touch up paint, minor furniture repair, tub caulking, tile repairs, etc. Perform preventative maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC, guestrooms, meeting rooms, the swimming pool and hot tub. Perform plumbing repair, laundry equipment repair, preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply; monitor energy conservation; repair vacuum cleaners and any other small equipment upon request. Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause - determine emergency status and report to the Front Desk with findings. This position works outdoors year-round, subject to all weather elements and temperatures. We provide water and hydrants. Duties/Responsibilities: · Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines. · Perform quality repairs and maintenance on all Heavy Truck and Diesel Engines as specified in manufacturer designed procedures or accepted industry practices. · complete all paperwork including repair information on work orders, information for state inspections, etc. · Dedication and adherence to all company and industry safety standards · Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary. · Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance. · Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts. · Orders and installs replacement parts for machines. · Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines. · Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently. · Prepares reports documenting work performed. · Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies. · Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines. · Collaborates with product manager or plant engineer regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required. · Makes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required. · Performs other related duties as assigned.
