Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in strict accordance with safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations. What You'll Bring: Education: 4+ years of hands-on experience in maintenance, specifically with mechanical, electrical, PLC controls, robotics, pneumatics, and automated system High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree in a technical field or relevant certifications (mechanical, electrical, PLC, etc.) preferred. Certifications/Additional Skills (Preferred): Certification in maintenance-related trades or advanced technical training is a plus. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the integrity of all WPIX technical and broadcast systems including media servers, routing systems, file distribution systems, Transmitter / RF systems, Live Trucks, non-linear editing systems, audio video distribution, Master Control and Production switchers, Encoding systems, audio systems, communication systems, Studio Cameras, test and monitoring systems. Create and maintain system documentation. Provide Production and IT Support for Live Network Broadcasts. Ability to understand complex concepts and workflows. Should hold a B.S. in Engineering or Computer Science or have demonstrable equivalent experience. The candidate should have notable experience related to broadcast systems design and integration. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing scheduled maintenance, and implementing repairs to keep our rides safe, and in excellent working condition.
