PURPOSE
The Columbia Public School district is seeking a Grounds Person to maintain the building and school grounds throughout the district. Grounds Maintenance Staff is responsible for construction, maintenance, and repairs of CPS district property, including, but not limited to, playgrounds, sidewalks, parking lots, trees, bushes, fences, flag poles, storm water, snow and ice removal, dirt work and signs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Operating gasoline and diesel-powered equipment, tractors, bobcats, vehicles, and other grounds keeping equipment
Planting, trimming and tending to shrubs and trees
Completing concrete and asphalt work
Mowing grass
Installing, maintaining, repairing and inspecting playground surfaces, borders and equipment
Removing snow and ice
Preparing and caring of athletic fields for games and practices
Performing physical labor tasks, including moving furniture
Using hand tools and power tools
Interacting with teachers, staff, and students courteously
Installing, caring, and maintaining irrigation systems
Assured proper safety standards and precautions are followed

Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
Industry related training is preferred

Medical Equipment Technician
Medical Equipment Technicians are responsible for ensuring safe delivery, providing setup, and education in usage of home medical equipment for our customers. Setup is done in their home, long-term care setting, clinic or any location deemed necessary to service patients.
Job Duties:
* Develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by the company and all
* applicable governmental regulations.
* Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures.
* Educate customers in proper use and care of respiratory and HME equipment in a home setting.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalency
* Entry level sales, customer service background essential
* One (1) year of Military, delivery driver with sales component or health care technician experience would be
* considered related experience and preferred.
* Senior level requires two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience.
* Valid and unrestricted driver's license in the state of residence
