Job Overview : The Field Service Technician for Ingersoll Rand's Compression Systems and Services Division serves customers by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all makes of rotary screw and reciprocating and/or Centac and ECC air compressors, along with additional compressed air system components.

Key Responsibilities:

Tearing down and restoring/rebuilding pumps and other types of rotating flow control equipment
Tests pumps hydraulically and electrically.
Install equipment using manufacturer specifications ensuring proper alignment balance and tolerances
Laser alignment of all types of equipment
Assembles new pumps, following engineering drawings and bill of materials.
Troubleshoots electric motors by using a multimeter, amp meter, or motor analyzer
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Assist with repairs at customers' sites; adhere to customer safety rules and policies.
Drive and safely operate company-owned vehicle/service truck.
Establish a work schedule in coordination with the Service Manager.
Other duties as assigned by management.

8. Maintain the flight and supernumerary areas as clean, safe and free of all loose items. Provide list of needed supplies to Station representative.
9. On international flights insure all garbage and food items are bagged for disposal per federal regulations. Accomplish bug disinfection as required.
10. Report to line station supervisory personnel when on the ground at line maintenance station.
11. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or Maintenance Control.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Your Responsibilities as a Handyman Professional
Completing Maintenance & Repairs – You’ll be completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects. The project length can range from two hours to two weeks or more.
Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations with Customers – You’ll communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.

How We’ll Measure Performance
Here are some of the ways that we’ll measure your performance in the role.
Customer Satisfaction (NPS) – For every job, you will encourage customers to complete a survey for them to rate their satisfaction with the service. You’ll need both a high response rate and high satisfaction rate.
Revenue Target – Our office gets you in the door and it’s your job to stay there and find additional ways to be of service to the customer.
Effective Billing Rate – It’s your responsibility to invoice appropriately, source any needed materials, and collect payment from the customer.
Recall Percentage – We guarantee all our work for one year. The work needs to be done correctly, the first time.

As an experienced Handyman, you have strong proficiency in at least three (3) of the following:
Carpentry work
Bathroom improvements
Kitchen improvements
Painting, both inside and out
Drywall work, minor and major repairs
General plumbing and electrical, where allowed by law
Floor installation and refurbishing
Familiar with building codes

The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 and is dependent on your experience as a professional handyman as well as your experience with other home repair and maintenance projects such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and drywall.

The Blain Group is a privately-owned commercial property owner with two award winning multi-story buildings in Livonia, Michigan as well as five single-story buildings throughout Southeast Michigan.
We have a need for a full-time Building Maintenance Technician. This position has a 40 hour work week, and salary is commensurate with experience. The candidate should be experienced, dependable, and hard working.
Responsibilities:
Office build-outs (demo, wall construction, drywall, ceiling tiles, painting, etc)
Maintain HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, repair furniture, etc)
Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and ballasts)
Respond to tenant reports of mechanical or maintenance issues as directed by Property Manager
Work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects
Maintain corporate safety procedures
