Maintenance & Refrigeration Lead Pay: $80,000 - $115,000 + Bonus + 5K Sign-on The Maintenance & Refrigeration Lead is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the Maintenance and Refrigeration teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all utilities and production equipment across the facility. This includes systems such as refrigeration (preferably ammonia), cogeneration, boilers, compressed air, and water. The Lead is accountable for daily maintenance scheduling, troubleshooting, safety oversight, team leadership, and coordination of both corrective and preventative maintenance. Pull and report data for regulatory agencies (e.g., SCAQMD). Maintain wrench time at 95% or above; ensure accurate and timely entry in CMMS. Planning, Scheduling & Documentation Work with planners to scope, kit, and assign work orders. Prioritize safety and regulatory compliance tasks. Manage parts procurement, quotes, and inventory tracking. Support planning calendars and ensure labor and parts readiness for future jobs. Review and verify work orders for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. Ensure full utilization of CMMS systems for maintenance tracking and metrics reporting. Facilities & General Maintenance Support facility services and minor building moves or repairs. Assign and coordinate vendor or contractor work for high-complexity tasks. Perform general building upkeep: electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, machining. Assist with inspections and internal/external audits. Safety, Compliance & Training Enforce GMP, PPE, HACCP, sanitation, and plant safety protocols. Conduct lock-out/tag-out procedures and routine safety inspections. Train and develop technicians to support food safety and OSHA compliance. Ensure all personnel complete required technical and safety training. This position will ensure that The People Concern operates a clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities that meet industry and funding source standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for general cleaning of the facilities which includes sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, washing windows, cleaning and stocking restrooms, emptying trash, etc. Assist with the completion of all minor repairs and facility rehabilitation, including interior and exterior facility grounds, buildings and equipment. Implement a schedule of regular evaluation and preventative maintenance/repair tasks of the facilities ensuring the safety of the buildings from fire, flood, and other hazards. Maintain inventory of supplies and tools. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of offices, restrooms, dining areas, dorms and common areas. Assist with set-up and clean-up of major events and with the pick-up, loading, and unloading of supplies and donations. Communicate regularly with all members of the team, to ensure effective two- way communication concerning maintenance issues. Implement policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies, equipment, and maintenance. Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent One to three years' experience as a Facilities Maintenance worker in a commercial building, or an equivalent combination of education andexperience. Job Summary The Facilities Maintenance Attendant is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and overall cleanliness of the golf club's facilities, ensuring all areas meet the highest standards of functionality, safety, and appearance. This role requires proactive attention to detail in maintaining the club's property, including indoor and outdoor spaces, to provide an exceptional environment for members and guests. The Facilities Maintenance Attendant will handle routine maintenance tasks, address repairs, and collaborate with other departments to resolve any facility-related issues promptly. Reporting Structure * Reports to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor Day to Day * Maintain carpets clean by vacuuming and spot cleaning where necessary. Keep all floors swept, mopped, and polished, including courts, exercise rooms, stairwells, lobby and hallway areas, restrooms, and any other areas needed. * Dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, chair arms, desks, credenzas, chandeliers, pictures, televisions, woodwork, and artwork, including all ceiling HVAC registers. * Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed in their respective areas, to meet club standards and as communicated expectations (i.e. orderly/organized work areas, straighten/arrange entry area, picking up trash/debris, etc.). * Perform or contract facility maintenance and housekeeping repairs and maintenance including, but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, building equipment, carpentry, flooring, walls, ceilings, special projects, and other related areas. * Responsible for maintaining a maintenance and project checklist/schedule for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements. * Communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate, prioritize, document, and complete work requests from Department Heads, members, and guests. Additional Duties * Due to the dynamic nature of the club, employees are expected to assist others as needed and take on additional tasks as assigned by management. * Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions. * Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff. * Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same. * Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role. * Address and resolve challenges using available resources, working with regional and corporate teams to support club operations. * Attend daily briefings and actively engage in required activities to stay informed and contribute to the team's success. About You Required * High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. * A minimum of 3 years of experience in the general facility, property maintenance, or golf club environment. Preferred * Experience in performing minor repairs, painting, plumbing, or other related maintenance tasks is highly valued. * Previous training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance. * Knowledge of and adherence to all OSHA regulations, electrical codes, and other compliance related facility maintenance.
