In this role you will install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical power distribution (three-phase 480 V, 120 VAC, low-voltage DC), AC and DC motor controls, PLC and computer-based control systems, combustion equipment, and process control loops. Install, troubleshoot, and repair three-phase 480 V power distribution systems, 120 VAC control circuits, and low-voltage DC control systems. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs and computer-based control systems. Diagnose production equipment issues using computer skills, software tools, and test instruments. Maintain and troubleshoot combustion systems, including gas trains, automatic control valves, and other gas-fired equipment. Understand, maintain, and repair process control loops. Assess equipment condition; plan and coordinate repairs and machine downtime with production leadership. Proactively requisition parts and materials to support continuous plant operations. Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and as needed; document work performed. Communicate maintenance issues across shifts to ensure continuity of operations; read and record notes in Maintenance and Production logbooks. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; ensure tools, equipment, and supplies are properly stored throughout the shift and before breaks, meals, and end-of-day.
