Job Summary The Industrial Mechanic/Millwright is a journey-level professional responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and overhauling the complex mechanical systems and machinery critical to our mail-order pharmacy operations. Fabricate and modify parts and components using machining tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders, and welding equipment as needed. Rig, lift, and move heavy machinery and components safely, following all rigging and hoisting protocols. Document all work performed, parts used, and time spent accurately in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Collaborate with operators, electricians, and engineers to improve equipment reliability and performance. Strictly adhere to all safety standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Completion of a recognized Millwright or Industrial Mechanic apprenticeship program is required. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Journeyman Millwright or Industrial Mechanic in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution setting. Experience in a pharmaceutical, food, beverage, or other cGMP-regulated industry is a plus Basic English with the ability to read and write. The primary purpose of the Tech III, MHE position is to oversee and repair material handling equipment (MHE).
